Apparel: Akuma normally wears a black jacket with the collar up. Under the jacket he wears a white button up shirt with a red special type of bowtie. He also wears dark jeans. However Akuma is almost never seen wearing shoes, and when he is their not shoes but rather knight style armored boots. Akuma also has a red gauntlet on his left arm with a hole in the wrist so the rune stone shows.

Personality: Akuma has a rather ‘mad hatter’ personality about him. He isn’t what anyone would really call ‘crazy’ but he does have OCD about certain things such as how clean something is or symmetry (symmetry only applies to things that come in a higher number than 1). When he gets OCD about something he doesn’t stop until it at least meets his standards. While in battle this ‘mad hatter’ personality of Akuma’s makes it hard for foes to tell exactly what he’s about to do sense he never actually has a set fighting style and normally never a plan either. When he really gets mad as a hatter, normally in battle, he doesn’t stop laughing, no matter what the situation.

History: Akuma never knew his real parents his entire life. Akuma had grown up with rune mages. Rune mages are magi who use rune stones instead of actual spells. Different runes were used for different spells, but every rune magic was stronger than the normal magic it was from. Most runes mages keep their runes on a special belt, but Akuma had his embedded into his left wrist as a sign of strength within the mage order. Sometime after mastering his rune stone ability a platoons worth of demon soldiers raided the town of rune mages.

The Demons were unaffected by the runes and thus the town was slaughtered. Akuma only survived because one of the demons claimed to know his demon heritage. Wanting to stay alive he agreed to the idea that he may be part demon. Akuma was taken to a demon laboratory base where several experiments were going on. One of the most worrisome experiments was turning pure beings known as humans and turning them into demons. Though the time Akuma was there, he saw not a single human survive that experiment, for the humans they used to be died, but the demon they became now existed, a tainted soul where once a kind one rested.

During the time Akuma was there he also found out that he was 3/4 demon. This explained a few things about him that he wanted answers to. Soon after finding out about himself he was released and began to live life as normally as he could with the knowledge that he was mostly a demon rather than the mage he thought he was.
