History: Sanzai is the legitimate hire to the Karl throne. Karl the 3rd was a hero during the war (the war mentioned in the plot). Karl was king of the north during the last 5 years of the war. During that time he died at the age of 25, making him the youngest king to take the throne and die. Sanzai is the 7th of the generation, but he doesn’t know this because while he was a child he was kidnapped and remembers nothing of his own real family.
