Personality: Katashi is a true music fan. Katashi is one of the few reapers remaining in the game that hasn’t been erased by the game master yet. As far as reapers go, Katashi may be one of, if not the, laziest of them all. Despite being lazy, he is amazingly powerful.

History: Katashi was a player in the Reaper’s Game until he was nearly erased, but offered a choice. The choice was either to become a reaper or face erasure. Katashi chose to become a reaper in order to stay alive. He doesn’t regret the choice, and he doesn’t want to go back to his old life while he was alive, he only wants to stay a reaper and eventually become the new Producer. It took some time, but Katashi became the Composer, just the rank below Producer.

Personality: Although rumored to have high-level abilities, Taro would much rather sit back and relax than exert effort in completing his assignments. Taro explained to a confused Katashi that he declined a promotion because being an officer meant that he couldn't be out and about he would only strut around looking important all day, a life he sees as boring. He is always holding a bean paste lollipop and is exceptionally cool-headed.

History: Taro used to be a player who was nearly erased. All players who are about to be erased, due to the current shortage of Reapers, are offered a choice of either becoming a Reaper or being erased. Taro refused the offer. Then the reaper erased Taro’s partner, which made Taro reconsider the off so he wouldn’t be erased either. Taro has been a Reaper for the past 3 years while his meister Katashi has only been one for not even a year.
