The man with a dark past maybe another can help him over see it(open)

Lance was walking around making sure no one was lost. today seemed to be a slow day at the caslte. he had no one to order around or no one to take orders from. he yawns and takes a break he sits under and tree and looks around.

"Let go of me you great hunk of metal!" Lyssa yelled as she stuggled to get out of the guards grip, "I have a message to deliver and I wont leave until it is done!" In truth it would have been delivered without any trouble if she stayed on track and didn't help a begger boy who stole some food from the vender escape. But they had to reach a dead end. She was able to help the boy over the wall but ended up being caught. now she was being thrown out before finishing her mission.

lance blinks and looks over at the noise. he sighs and gets up. "whats going on over here?"

This thing..." she knew that somewhere in all of that amour was a person, but she did not want to call it one, "Thing is stopping me from delivering the message I have to deliver." She said as she still struggled to be let go.

[b]Sir,this young lady was seen helping a criminal.[/color] The guard said.

"Kid." She corrected, "I am so glade I am not a citizen of this town. to see that a kid has to steel to survive is down right disgusting!" She hissed as she glaied at the guard.

lance looked at the guard "put her down... if she has a message it could be important.. and helping a kid steel is no crime in my book i over throw her being guilty of everything... but just to make sure she doesn't case am more trouble i'll escort her to where she has to go.." he crosses his arms glaring at the guard, he had to listen to lance because he was the general.

The guard dropped Lyssa and obeyed his ordered. Lysaa watched as the man walked away. Standing up she brushed the dust off her clothes.Thank you for your help. I will be on my way now." She smiled and bowed slightly before walking back into town do get this silly task over and done with.

lance bows back and follows her. he walks besides her and stretches. "who is your message for anyway?"

That is personal information that is to only be shared with those who need to know." She replied as she adjusted her long red hair into a ponytail. She looked at the streets debating which ones to turn down. She kept her eye out for that annoying guard. One of the things that she would love after this task was to leave the town were people wore metal. Her message was from Genral Bloodrose to her sister who had married a person from this town and moved here.

lance sighs "alright..." he keeps walking with her.

When she spotted the house she turned to the amour man who had helped her, "That is where my message is going. Thank you for the escourt, but I'm sure i'll be fine entering the house." She smiled as she basicly shooed the man off while walking towards the front door.

lance looks at her and shrugs "fine but don't get into any trouble again.." he yawns and walks off.

Knocking on the door she smiled as her friend greated her. She quickly passed the note to her and said goodbye. Walking down the street she planed to find the kid again and give him some money. it was also to make sure that the idoit hunk of metal didn't find him.

lance was sitting at a bench holding his head. he hadn't been able to get any sleep for the past few days. he had a terrible headache and sighs.

Walking down the street she looked at a few stalls. After a couple of minutes she bumped into the kid again. "Lady!" He beamed. She was about to say hello but with interrupted by yelling. "Get on my back, quickly." She told him. The kid did as he was told.

Lyssa started to run she quickly ran up as set of creates and grabbed the flag pile that was hanging the wall. She swinged forward grabbing the next one. The boy on her back was haveing a great time. Once she ran out of flag poles it was back the ground she turned the corner and stopped. Guard number two, the one who helped her out before had sat there.

"Get them!" Voices of the others called out from behind her somewhere. This was not looking too good.

lance looks up and chuckles lightly. "in trouble again?" he stands up and walks over to her "what happened this time?" he looked at the kid on her back and smiles "you must be the boy see helped before.. am sorry you have to steal your food... i'll find some way to help the people get enough food even when they can't afford to pay for it.." he had been working at it but nothing had been done yet. he looks back at her and smiles "by the way am general lance michealson but you can call lance.."

"Question one, yes. It is nice to meet you. But can we please keep introduction till later. As in when you get rid of those guards." She said as she looked back she was just waiting for them to turn around the corner.

lance chuckles lightly "just stay behind me.." he stands in front of her. he gets a serious look on his face waiting for the guards.

She stood behind him. If it wasn't for the amour then she would have had started a fight, but because of the amour and only weapon being a throwing knife or two, she knew it wouldn't really work.

A group of guards turned the corner. "There they are!" one called out.

lance looks at them "stand down men their with me!" he glares at them and crosses his arms.

"But sir, this child has brocken the law by steeling. The girl must have lied, they are obviously working together. Sir" One of them said.

The rid wrapped his arms around lyssa's neck she waited to see what Lance would say to the bunch of idiots in metal.

lance looks at them with a mad look. "he is a child and i will not allow you to arrest a child for stealing because hes hungry! now stand down your fight me!" he gets in a fight position.

They looked at each other unsure with what to do, "Surely you are not allowing people to steel. Do we just waltz up to a store grab what we want and leave? If we can not then they can not."

Lyssa took a look at the person who spoke, he did come up with a good point on their part and also had the guts to stand up to a Lance. She had to give the man., or women credit for guts.

lance glares at the person "i will explain to the child that it is wrong to steal... but i will not allow a small child to be thrown in jail!" the truth was that boy reminded lance of his brother.

"but-t sir, we can't leave him un punished." The same one continued.

Lyssa took a step back, she was not going to let the people harm the kid. "Lady..." The kid whispered, "Don't let them get me." She patted the kids arms to tell him that thing would be okay. an idea if things didn't work out was make Lance a hostage, after all she was behind him. The knife in her boot would be her weapon, but chances of Lance playing along would be slim and what if the others don't care if their comrade was held hostage. She would have to hope Lance would be able to solve this on his own.

lance slams down his long lance leaving a gaint hole in the ground beside him "a child does not need to be punished! besides this is his frist time if i hear you talk out against your general again i will not hesitate to kill you!" one of his eyes were red, and flashbacks started happening.
