Boris looked around asking people if anyone saw one of the queens of Hearts men around dragging a young girl. They all shook their heads. Looking up at the tower he wondered if she really was in there.

ace mets yuki half way up the stairs he laughs and walks her the rest of the way explaining what was going on.

The man sat in his chair facing his back towards the person that was known as Alice. "Are you the latest person from the other world to enter wonderland?" He asked.

alice smiles and nods "yes sir.. i am.." she blinks wondering "why do you ask?"

Simple, more shadows are appearing, well they do have a different name. DO you know the danger you are in since you agreed to become Alice?" He kept his back to the girl waiting to hear her her reply.

alice blinks in surprise at the word danger "no sir i didn't know there was any danger.. i know the shadows come out at night and in the forest..." she tilts her head in curiosity.

He turns around, "They also hunt silly people who look back. You can only go forward now. If you try to go back they will kill you." A girl walked in with a tray that had two cups and a tea pot on it. She place the tray down on his desk before leaving the room. "Why did you choose to be Alice?"

alice blinks in surprise but quickly gets brought back "well i wanted to become alice because i love it in wonderland.. i've made alot of friends and i want to be able to come here all the time.." she smiles happily.

"Knowing that you can never return home?" He raised a silver eyebrow. "Unless you step down from your title and do not return. Who made you accept the title?" He asked while pouring the tea.

yuki runs in "alice are you ok?!"
alice blushes lightly and giggles "hi yuki." she turns back to the man and thinks "the queen said i had to met everyone in wonderland then i would be alice. but yuki asked her for me think... right yuki?"
yuki smiles and nods "yepper!" she giggles happily.

"you fool, you are Alice. The role is given to who ever comes here with that name. Once you agree you can never turn back or you will join the shadow." He was close to hissing, but kept his voice down, "That is what happened to the last Alice." He didn't look at the new comer.

alice blinks in surprise "then why did the queen tell me to meet everyone in wonderland? so i could get the title..."
ace leaves the room quickly and runs down the stairs he opens the door and puts his hood on as he walks outside.

He watched as the Queens Knight put his hooded cape back on, "Maybe she want's something from you. He said as he took a sip of his drink, "You have not touched your drink yer, Alice number 99."

boris waited outside, yuki was taking too long. Opening the door he started to walk up the stairs. He suddenly noticed the man in red.

ace blinks and looks at boris. his eyes dart around quickly like oh crap.
alice looks shocked she was number 99. she takes a sip from her tea and looks at him. "but what could she possible want from me?"

ace decides to walk past boris.

"home calls for them and they step down, or home calls from then and they go back holding their title."

Boris continued to walk up the stairs, he knew that the man in red had spotted him, turning around he looked at him, "Is the usagi and girl still here?" he asked dully.

ace turns to face boris. he takes off his hood and sighs. he rubs the back of his neck laughing "man i hoped you hadn't seen me." he stops laughing "but yes their still here clock man is talking to alice about her position and the shadows."

"Then i'll wait outside his office." He bowed his head slightly before continuing up the stairs.

ace bows back and puts his hood back on. he leaves to go find broken clocks for the clock man. after that he would report back to the queen.
alice looks at the clock man "what does that mean tho?" she sat there trying to figure it out. she takes another sip of tea.

"To be alice you stay here until you die, You can go home, but never come back or you can dream about going home and think about going back, but that will bring the shadows. For some reason they are more strict with Alice then the other roles. He puts his cup down and looked at the other girl, "And you are?"

alice sighs "well not not very fair.." she smiles lightly though.

My dear, since when is life fair. The laast alice was dear to us all. He smiled slightly, She was tall with long black hair and vivid green eyes. She said she was part of something called visual kei I think in the other world which explain the way she dressed. I was told the one before was from royalty." He looked at aLice, "what will you bring to make you you different from the others?"

"what will make the people here remember you instead of the other Alices. you need to be able to win them over to live here happily." He looked down at her. "talk to the queen and ask her about what she wants from you."
