The king and his maid (berry)

"Nothing I can think of Hoshi." Haku smiled. "Is there anything you want to talk about though? You can choose the topic sense I chose to talk about you last night."

hoshi blinks and looks at the ground "master do you really like me or....or is this fake?" she tilts her head and looks at him.

Haku looked shocked, but he didn't answer.

hoshi blinks and looks at haku "master..."

Haku grit his teeth, he still hadn't answered.

hoshi blinks and looks at the ground sadly. "Master.." she gets tears in her eyes and runs away.

"Hoshi..." Haku whispered to himself when she had already left. The maids in the room surrounded him saying things like 'She's not worth your time anyway' or 'She probably didn't even like you in the first place.'
Haku actually felt something for Hoshi, he wasn't sure, but he really did like Hoshi more than he did anyone else. All of what the maids were saying was only making him feel more horrible for not explaining that it wasn't true. Haku went to his room, the maids following him all the way.
"Just go away. All of you. Resume your normal duties. But if Hoshi leaves the castle with Nadine, let me know..." Haku said closing his bedroom door. Haku grit his teeth and tears fell. He walked to the corner of the room that was the only one that was the only one that had shadows in it. He fell to his knees and hit the wall. "It's not me fault right...? It's not my fault." Haku doubled over and cried."

hoshi ran to her aunt and hugged her tightly "auntie..."
nadine smiles lightly "hoshi... its alright am not mad..."
hoshi looks at her "am going for a walk outside of the castle auntie..." she runs out the room and out of the castle.
nadine tried to stop her "HOSHI WAIT!" she coughs and falls to the floor.

The maids got some devious grins when they saw Hoshi leaving. Haku said to tell him only if Nadine and Hoshi were leaving, not just Hoshi.

Ramsay, the butler around Nadine's age who helped her to the infirmary yesterday, walked into the infirmary and saw Nadine. "Nadine! Are you alright?" Ramsay said helping Nadine up.

Haku stayed in the corner of his room hitting the wall until his knuckles were bleeding, and then he kept punching the wall. He wanted to feel Hoshi's pain, even if what he was doing wasn't going to be close to the pain he felt, he still wanted to feel the pain.

nadine looks at ramsay with tears in her eyes. "ramsay am fine but hoshi she's leaving the castle.. she says shes just going for a walk but am worried she won't come back.." she holds onto ramsay and cries.
hoshi ran into the woods and looks around. she had been running for a while and she was tired. "where....where am i?" she looked around scared.

"I'll have Haku informed immediately." Ramsay held Nadine close. "Sebastian. I know your here. Tell Haku that Hoshi left." Sebastian walked into the infirmary.
"Nothing get's past you Ramsay." Sebastian said as he walked out of the infirmary. Sebastian walked into Haku's room. "King Haku. Hoshi has left the castle. Ms. Nadine is worried that Hoshi will not return." Sebastian informed.
"What?!" Haku said standing up. He grabbed his sword and ran past Sebastian and outside the castle. Haku put his nose in the air and sniffed. He followed where Hoshi's sent until he caught up with Hoshi. "Hoshi! Are you alright?!"

hoshi blinks and looks at haku "am fine.." she blushes and looks at the ground "am sorry if i caused you trouble master.."

Haku dropped his sword and hugged Hoshi tightly. "I was so worried about you Hoshi..." Haku was crying.

hoshi looks at him surprised "master.." she hugs him tightly "am sorry master...please don't cry.."

"I promise you that nothing between us is fake... I.. I love you Hoshi... I know we haven't known each other long.. but I love you.."  Haku kissed Hoshi lovingly.

hoshi blushes deeply and looks at him. "you love me master? really you do?" she smiles happily and hugs him tightly. "i love you too master!"

Haku smiled and hugged Hoshi tightly back. "That means so much to me Hoshi.."

hoshi smiles and nuzzles him lovingly. "master..."

Haku nuzzled Hoshi lovingly back. "Hoshi..."

hoshi smiles then blinks "oh no i bet auntie is worried!" she looks around "master how do we get back to the castle?"

Haku picked up his sword and held Hoshi's hand. "Follow me." Haku's knuckles were still bleeding

hoshi looks at haku hands and stops. "master your hands their hurt?! what happened?!"

"I wanted to feel your pain..." Haku explained.

hoshi looks at him with wide eyes "master why would you want to do that?!" she hugs him tightly with tears in her eyes.

"I knew that I caused you a great pain... I wanted to know what pain that I caused you..." Haku explained.
