Darkness and Light? (Berry)

Yoite walked into the monk village. He wanted to get a scroll that would help him master his Kira powers. However he knew that the scroll was guarded. Yoite walked into the library looking around for any sort of secret passages that would lead to the scroll he was looking for.

Lucius had been choosen to guard the kira scroll that day. he sighs "why would they choose me to do this today.." he looks around "i don't know why we have to guard it.. its not like anyone would want to take it.."

Kira was a technically forbidden technique, it was a law of the monks to not practice it, but it was actually a common and well known practice of the monks to at least learn some Kira.

Yoite kept looking around the library, knowing the glances that the monks were giving him were disapproving ones. Yoite went to the corner of the library and pulled out a book that had it's spine towards the wall and not facing away from it. the wall opened up and revealed stairs. Yoite walked down the stairs and was soon the in room with Lucius.

lucius blinks and looks at yoite and sighs "i had to open my big mouth..." he stands up and walks over to him "sir you can't be in here...." he smiles lightly hoping there wouldn't be a fight.

Yoite stayed silent, he didn't want a fight today, he just wanted the scroll. He walked past Lucius and up to the stand the scroll was on.

lucius blinks and looks at him surprised "sir no you can't take that..." he runs up to the scroll and puts a hand on it. "am sorry but you have to leave... please i don't want a fight..."

Yoite looked at Lucius. Yoite grabbed the scroll then jumped back. He pointed at Lucius, there was a quick change in the air and before long Lucius' left arms was turned the way it wasn't supposed to be. Yoite had broken Lucius' left arm..

luicus blinks and looks at him arm in fear. he screams in pain and falls to the ground holding his arm. "ow ow it hurts! why would you do that?!" he looks at him with tears running down his face.

Yoite looked at Lucius. Something about him, Yoite actually felt something for him. Empathy perhaps...? Yoite put the scroll in his trench coat pocket then walked over to Lucius. Yoite picked up Lucius and carried Lucius in his arms.

luicus blushes lightly and looks at him. he winces in pain and holds his arm tightly.

Yoite looked Lucius in the eyes. Yoite's eyes were kind now, a complete contrast to the almost murderous like eyes he had before. Yoite carried Lucius up stairs and out of the village. Yoite wasn't sure why anyone made a fuss about Yoite leaving the village with one of their own monks.
Yoite carried Lucius to a camp that was clearly lived in and probably a good 5-8 miles from the village. The camp had one tent that could probably fit 4 people easily, there was a fire pit with some charred wood, there was a tea kettle and some cups next to the fire pit. Yoite brought Lucius into the tent. There was a rolled up sleeping bag in the corner and there was a medical kit next to it. He placed Lucius on the ground of the tent and opened the medical kit.
Yoite made a splint from some of the objects in the medical kit for Lucius' arm.

lucius blinks and watches him as he makes the splint. he seemed so different from when he was in the temple. he keeps holding his arm, he pants lightly he was in a lot of pain.

Yoite put the splint on Lucius's broken arm. The splint worked more or less like a cast around the broken bone, it was forced back into place anyway.

lucius closes his eyes and groans lightly. he looks at the splint then at yoite "thank.. you..." he smiles slightly and looks at the ground.

Yoite unrolled the sleeping bag, it was clearly big enough for two. Yoite unzipped it and put Lucius in. Yoite zipped it back up. Yoite walked out of the tent and started making tea.

lucius blushes lightly and looks around. he sighs and looks at the ceiling of the tent. he yawns lightly and closes his eyes trying to relax.

Seeing that Lucius was trying to sleep, at least that what Yoite thought, he only made one cup of tea for himself. Yoite drank the tea and looked around, it was starting to get dark. Yoite walked into the tent and zipped the flap closed. Yoite laid on the ground and closed his eyes.

lucius looks at him and moves over. "you should sleep on the ground you could get sick..." he blushes lightly, but he was use to sharing a bed he did it all the time at the temple.

Yoite looked over at Lucius. Yoite shook his head.

lucius sighs "fine.." he closes his eyes and falls asleep.

Yoite looked at Lucius and kissed his forehead. Yoite laid back down on the ground and closed his eyes, soon falling asleep.

lucius wakes up late in the evening the next day. he yawns and groans when he tries to move his broken arm. he looks at it and sighs "oh right.."

Yoite walked into the tent holding two cups of tea. Yoite handed one to Lucius.

lucius looks at him then the tea. he takes it with his good arm "thank you.." he takes a sip out of it. "this is really good.."

Yoite nodded. Yoite knew how to make tea, he had pretty much been making it his whole life.
