History:
Tsubaki:
Tsubaki grew up with parents who had a firm grip on Tsubaki's life while she was growing up, so she ended up almost like them. Tsubaki moved out of her parent's home when she was 20 and she had moved to a city more to the west. Though she was happy to be away from her parents she still acted like her parents were watching her, so she hardly changed from the girl who lived with her parents when she moved out.
Rei:
- This is in a spoiler because it is fairly long. But it is still recommended to read:
Rei grew up with a mother and father that couldn't care less what Rei did. So she was never really disciplined as a child. Until she was in high school her parent's didn't care at all about Rei or what she did. Rei's actions caught up with her then. When Rei was drunk out of her skull stumbling home from a party with ripped clothes her parents finally took notice of her. The outcome wasn't good: Both her parent's beat her until they knew they had broken something. Rei didn't know what happened to her old parents, but that didn't stop her from going to parties, but when she left for a party her parents beat her when she came back. She didn't know why her parents were doing this to her. She told some of her friends what was happening, but they seemed like they couldn't care less. And after she had told them, they just left her behind. It was clear to her that the people that she thought were her friends, were not her true friends. Having no one to turn to and desperately not wanting to go home, she ran away with nothing but the clothes on her back... Rei ran away to a city in the west, and there she met Tsubaki, the kindest girl she had ever met. Tsubaki took Rei into her home and let her stay with her. Rei eventually fell in love with Tsubaki.
