Kazuya Minegishi

Kazuya live on an island continent that had a bit of history for strange events occurring with no particular meaning. Kazuya and two of his friends were given an odd device called a ----- which allowed them to summon a demon and even control them.
After being given the devices they were able to see that it was demons who had been doing all of the odd things that had happened. Kazuya and his friends fought the evil demons with their own demons. Soon a demon had caused a gas leak causing Kazuya's entire home town to be flooded with the gas.
The town was cut off from the rest of the word due to the gas leak. Because the town was cut off from the rest of the world all the power was cut off too, and almost all tech was rendered useless without any Wi-Fi to work off of. Day after day the situation seemed to get worse, people complained about food and water running out, people started rioting to get out of the town, some people started cults that prayed to angels, god, who ever they thought would help.
No such help came. By the 6th day word about the government's plan to help the town finally seemed to get going fresh food and water was air dropped to the down, everyone ran and took and stole as much as they could. In the riot of food and water several people were trampled to death.
During those days in confinement Kazuya and his friends had been killing the evil demons so they didn't do any more damage than they already had. One of the many fights Kazuya and his friends went through were against a demon speices known as Bel. The first one they fought as against Belder, he had very helpful information and stated that Kazuya was one of the heirs to the throne of Bel, and that was why the town was sealed off, to let the game for the Throne of Bel begin.
After defeating the other Bel throne candidates it was the 7th day in lockdown and many people in the city had died fighting over something as useless as an empty water bottle. Many of the cults in the town spoke of the 'Tower of Babel' returning before the 7th day.
And on the 7th day, everything around the town had gone dark. Kazuya and his friends awoke to the 7th day high above the city standing on nothing but air. A large tower had appeared before them, the Tower of Babel. A booming voce called out to defeat the tower to reach the throne. That's just what Kazuya and his friends did. After defeating to tower of babel they were returned to their city, however in just the short hour they were gone there was over 1000 fatalities, which now meant that just under half the city's original population was still alive.
Kazuya decided to become the King of Bel, however Metatron, that most 'godly' of angels, had other ideas for Kazuya. Metatron sent down forces of angels to kill the remaining demons, including the ones that Kazuya and his friends were using to help save the city. Thinking that the angels were evil Kazuya and his friends fought off the angels for as long as they could... In the fight... Kazuya lost his two best friends... forever. Feeling nothing but complete and pure hate for the one who sent down the angels, Metatron, Kazuya swore in a blood oath that he would kill Metatron with his own hands...
