Fey are the stronger version of normal fairies, they can shape shift and can control 1 or 2 elements. The elements are all in separate kingdoms, the kingdoms are: Fire and Wind, Water and Ice, Earth and Light, and finally Void. Each Kingdom of the Fey holds two elements expect for Void. Void is the element of nothing, when used incorrectly it has devastating consequences on the user and everything around them. It is the most difficult and most stubborn element to work with. Children of the Void can create black holes that can destroy worlds, or even star systems when a child of the Void is at the master level. Only 1 child of the Void has made it to master level, Altair. When any Fey achieve mastery of their element(s) then they are crowned king or queen of their kingdom.
When they get the master status they are allowed to speak a spell that grants immortality. However, only the original 4 Kings and Queens of the kingdoms have gotten to master status. This means that only 4 Fey, one from each kingdom, has ever gotten master status. Also a king or queen of any kingdom may not declare war on any other kingdom or any other race unless a meeting of the kingdoms is held and a decision has been made.
Fey may be a different branch of the Fairy race, but they consider normal fairies to be their weaker selves, and so normally they don’t care what happens to normal fairies. Sense each different kingdom has its own separate world, Earth falling under normal fairies of course; the Fey population has hardly been touched by those who still hunt fairies.
Despite Fey being seemingly stronger than normal Fairies, Fey cannot touch iron without it hurting them badly. They can’t even be near iron without feeling sick…
