A pack of cards.

Touhou smiles at her warmly "I have found out that I am the new card holder for the spades.. Is there anything else you would like to know?" She looks at the girls "I would like to know a few things about you girls "do you know if your connected like the boys? The boys seem to have a connection that makes it to if one dies they all will die.. They can also heal each other by touching their tattoos.. Can you girls do anything like this?"

"Nope." Clubs said, "We don't have any spiritual connection to each other, we can't feel each others pain and none of us have the power of healing." She continued.

Touhou nods "hmm I find that odd.." She smiles "is there anything else you girls would like to talk about?"

"nope, not really. Only that the Queen of Hearts want your boys to accept their roles." Hearts said, resting her arms on the table.

Touhou looks at the boys and smiles "could you please explain to the boys their roles "I will make some tea.."

"Simple, you do as your card holder tells you too." she smiled and she clapped her hands together, "Like a pawn in a game of chess. It is her wish that you take up your role."

Sei sighs "fine but we come home at dinner and stay the night here.. We will expect our roles and do what we are told until dinner time.."

The other boys blink and look at Sei with a shocked look. "wow.."

"I'm only delivering the message. Your card hold, their rules." She said causally as she leaned back.

Diamonds was busy playing a card game with their other two sisters, "I remember the Queen of Hearts saying we were made for war. If so how would you come back if your card holder declared war. This is just one of those what if thingies. What if you are asked to travel to another world or to a distant town where you would have to spend the night their since you wont be able to make it back in time? You can accept it half heartily. I mean what great jobs take less then 12 hours so you can go home to retire? I heard  the Sea kingdom is always moving. Next minute you may find yourself on the shores of another land." Spades smirked as she placed a card down.

Sei looks at her "that's what I want them to agree on we will do our job even if we can't come home from dinner.. I will not say anything more.."

The boys were still in shock.

Touhou comes back with some tea. "here is some tea.. What did the boys choose?"

"nothing yet. They want to have there own silly rules and honestly we can approve them. Only their card holder can. If you ant me to Hearts I can force them into saying yes and they can just be puppets." Spades said, forgetting her promise about not talking and opening her mouth with out a care about how the others would react.

Touhou smiles "I'm guessing Sei agreed.. That's good enough for me.. If Sei agreed to take the role the others will listen.. He can talking over his rules with his holder.." She giggles "anyway do you want to stay here spade?"

"I have no real choice, it's to bothersome to leave from the sea or any other place in the middle of the night if summoned." She said as she placed a card down.

"Then if that is all settled we will be going back to owner, owners I guess." Hearts smiled at the 'owners' part as she stood up, "don't cause to much trouble Spades, or make to many puppets." She said as she patted spades back. The other three all stood up.

Sei and the others stood up. They hug Touhou and leave.

Touhou looks at spades "I hope you enjoy yourself."

Spade looks at spades and blushes "what's your power exactly? Do you control strings and ribbons like me?"

Spades burst out laughing, "not at all. I don't wear this eye patch for nothing." She laughed as she watched the others leave.

Clubs walked towards the direction of the sea. she held in her hand a card from Diamonds that would help her breath underwater.

Diamonds shuffled her cards in her hand as she headed towards the direction of the Duchess' home, her new home.

Hearts let out a push of air as she walked back to the castle, the sun was still up and she really couldn't be bothered going back, when it was still light.

Sei looks at clubs "I made an extra breath tube.. You can have it once that card is used up of you want.."

Shuki looks at hearts and smiles "so what's the queen like?"

Dia looks at diamond and smiles warmly. "we don't have to swim to get to the duchess do we?"

Spade blinks "why do you where that eye patch? Is your power in your eye?"

"It won't unless Diamond dies, which I'm sure she will be extra carefully about." Clubs said, "Besides once I gain her trust she might do what ever magic she used on 03 to make him stay dry and able to breath."

"Unwell. I would say sick, but people may get the wrong idea." Hearts replied.

"she does have a pool, but it isn't something that surrounds the entrance." Diamonds said as she memorized the layout of the duchess' home.

"One look from this eye and you become my hostage. a slave, really unless I give them freedom, which rarely happens you. speaking of which i wonder if my crew back in the other world are still under my control."Spades said looking up at the sky.

Shuki blinks "how will people get the wrong idea if you say sick?"

Sei shrugs "whatever.. Doesn't she already trust you?"

Dia smiles "maybe I can learn to swim.."

Spade blinks "you had a crew.. He chuckles I can kinda do that but if the strings break my control is off.." He smiles.

"people in this more modern day of age use the word sick as a compliment, a praise." Hearts said as she continued walking.

"How can she trust me when I have not proven my loyalty to her? I haven't done anything for her." Clubs answered.

"If you have time you can, if not it will be spent with what ever the duchess asks."


"That much suck, stings are week, however a person life if much more stronger." Spades said as she walked inside.

Spade follows her and sighs. "you can choose out a room if you want.." He smiles at her.

Shuki blinks and laughs "that's so weird!" He smiles and looks around "so is her castle nice like touhous?"

Sei looks at her "because of your face.. You have determination written on it and your eyes have a strong and soft look to them.. That's all I would need to trust you.." He looks forward again as he walks.

Dia smiles and bows "ok.." He chuckles and walks ahead of her. He claps his hands and a card appears in front of her as she walked. Written on is was 'i can't wait to work with some like you.. Also your very pretty and nice..'

"Excellent." She clapped her hands together, "Big room, great room, preferable with it's own bathroom.." spades started as she walked down the hallway describing the room she was after.

"It is nice, and quite large too." Hearts replied as she remembered the castle.

Clubs couldn't help but laugh, "We are quite manipulative. A few times we pretended to be some client and when we have what we need, stab them in the back. Loyalty can only go so far." She giggled.

"Thank you, but I am one who hates my appearance, to seem nice and happy to people all the time is a curse." diamonds said with her eyes closed.

Dia stops walking and looks at her. He walks up to her and hugs her tightly "I'm sorry your cursed.." He looks at her with warm and caring eyes "I want to help break your curse.."

Sei looks at her and smirks "I know I can tell by your body language but I would still trust you because I'd I have a one up on you.." He chuckles and looks ahead "here's the water.." He jumps in.

Spade blinks "that's about every room here.. You just choose which style of room you want.."

Shuki smiles "awesome!" He grabs her hand and starts to run "come on come on let's get there!"

"It's not really a curse." diamonds laughed, "It's just something that is part of me.

Clubs placed the card in her mouth and dived in. when they reached the castle they were greeted by 03.

Damon looked at them, "didn't think you would be coming after your little out burst. Being the first card here, Aqua has appointed me to in charge of you two since she is bust at the moment and can't train nor teach you."

"A dark blue one would be good." Spades said as she continued down the hallway.

Hearts almost tripped when Shuki grabbed her and started to run.

Shuki smiles and laughs as he runs "are we close?"

Sei growls and glares at the person standing in front of him. He crosses his arms after hearing he was going to have to be trained by him. It almost made him want to leave.

Spade smiles "well there's a dark blue room by mine.." He grabs her hand and shows her the way to the room. "here.." He let's her go.

Dia blinks "I can still help right?"

"That big building over there." Hearts pointed with her free hand.

Damon smirked, "Queen aqua never forced you to accept your role, so don't give me a sour look like you don't want to be here since you do not have to." He chuckled as he led them inside.

"eh, surely there is another one, one that does not have any one living in it, ever. It always feels strange staying in a room that once belong to someone else." spades said.

"Being in this place and finding out what we are is what will help." Diamonds said as she unleashed her cards to re build the bridge.

Dia sighs and nods. He walks across the bridge, he really did want to help her. He looks at her and smiles lightly "you are pretty though ok.."

Spade chuckles "no one has lived in this one.."

Sei growls and rolls his eyes while he walks behind him.

Shuki smiles "wow is awesome!" He turns around and picks hearts up "let's get there fast!" He runs with her in his arms into the castle.
