Personality: Lyssa is a fun outgoing person who has a habit of attracting trouble at times. Most people do not see her as a serious person because of her outgoingness and that she can be a tease of flirt at times, but when it comes to her duties she is quite serious.
She is also known to be competitive, always trying to be number one when it comes to her duties. As a student this is her way of showing she is capable of taking the role of one of the generals which has been in her family for years.

History: Lyssa is the fourth child of the Van'elle household and hopes to hold the family position as general as her father stepped down due to injury in the war and her brother because he lost an eye. Her older sister have no intrest in taking the position of it has become Lyssa's goal to be one of the next seven generals.
the Van'elle family have held that position since the change of society man years ago where classes were strictly divided into three groups and no one could change, those who wanted to marry into another group were classes as out casts.
however one of the main things stopping Lyssa from her dream the fact that she has a habit of causing trouble which most of the other generals look down upon and do not approve. But Lyssa does have serious side which some of the generals and nobles think may help her, when it comes to her work she is one hundred present committed.
Lyssa originally was assigned to protect Allanora, a noble who was a bit difficult for Lyssa to get a long with and finally snapped at when he new royal from another land had come. Lyssa protected Jaqueline from the person she should be taking care of and since that incident she stayed with the blonde foreigner being her guard and no longer Allanora's.
