Personality: Hotsuma is a Zweilt guardian (not much is known about them, but they work to try to keep balance in the worlds between light and dark). He is short tempered and impulsive. He can also have a foul mouth when angered to much. He is known as a problem child since gee doesn't like to listen to authority. He has one person he truly trusts (he has a big trust issue) and that person would be his childhood friend Shusei. However, if he spends enough time with someone and they don't hurt him or Shusei he can grow very close to them. He'll want to protect them with his body and soul.

History: He was basically abandoned by his parents who labeled him as a monster because of his power. Hotsuma's past is shadowed by his fire abilities, and while he was protecting a classmate he ended up attacking a few of the classmates that was being mean to the one he was protecting. Because he burnt them thus isolated him from everyone else. After a while, he attempted to kill himself. But Shusei stopped him, doing this gave him a few burn scars since Hotsuma was trying to burn himself to death. Hotsuma constantly blames himself for Shusei's scars and is scared of hurting someone.
