A New Life (Berry)

Edo's astral body awoke from his slumber days after his death outside of Heaven. He was now known as an Ascendant: an angel whom can only live in Heaven, though was given the gift of new life. Over this time, Edo had dreamt about marrying Tenshi and having kids with her. However, none of this could come true unless the Tenshi he knew had appeared before him, and do as she did in those dreams. For now, Edo could only look down on the planet he once lived on, and watch over the one he loved most: Tenshi.

Tenshi sighs as she laid down in bed. She hadn't been doing much, she had even been ignoring her calls from work. She felt so sad and alone without Edo. Her friend Akito had been trying to reach her. She looks at the crosses and sighs "if I hadn't flown.. I'm sorry Edo.." She had looked over the crosses over and over. She didn't want to lost them ever, she gives a small sad smile "I wonder what kinda gifts they have.." She blinks as she hears a knock at the door. She sighs and ignores it for now just looking at the crosses.

Akito sighs as he keeps knocking on the door "Tenshi..."

Edo observes Tenshi's sadness. She had been ignoring calls, and any sort of accompaniment. The crosses were still a mystery, of course, though Edo knew they contained some kind of secret power. Aside from all of this, however, who was this "Akito" now in her life? Edo clinched his teeth, slightly jealous, and much more worried. It was unfortunate that he no longer existed in the world down below. When he died, the memories of Edo had disappeared from all but Tenshi. Even the hotel room was paid off to a different customer, though as an angel, one could easily find a home whenever they wanted to. It was their gift at all. Edo could do nothing but have one note transported from him to Tenshi, and so, he did it:

Dear Tenshi,

It's me, Edo! Ascend to Heaven!"

Tenshi blinks and looks at the note. It was different from the rest she had been getting. Her eyes light up when she read it "Edo!" She quickly gets dressed and slips his crosses onto her bracelet. She opens the door and goes to run out. However, she bumps into Akito.

Akito catches her and smiles "Tenshi your ok!" He hugs her tightly.

Tenshi blinks and blushes lightly when Akito hugs her. She pushes away "a-Akito.. What are you doing here?" She shakes her head "wait never mind.. I have to get to Heaven.. I have to go maybe we can talk later.." She hoped this would make him let go.

Akito blinks and looks at her "well actually I'm here because I was told to get you and also I was worried about you.. You are my friend after all.." He smiles at her lightly "let me escort you to Heaven then.. I have the short cut.." He chuckles and throws down a small gem and a door appears that glittered and had a soft glow to it. "the door to Heaven my dear.." He laughs at his joke and blushes lightly.

Tenshi smiles big and hugs him "thanks Akito!! Your the best!" She runs through the door "Edo!" She was hoping he would be on the other side of the door.

Edo runs to the door, seeing Tenshi ascend to it, herself. He opens the door, and immediately sees her face. His smile becomes very warm as Edo pulls Tenshi to him, then kisses her deeply on the lips. "It's been a long time, Tenshi!" Edo comments, "I'm sorry for leaving you alone down there, but now we're here, together again, right?" Edo was curious, however, as he peeked over Tenshi's shoulder. "Is this a friend of yours?" Edo asks. He couldn't recall a new guy appearing in Tenshi's life since he died. Could she be in a new relationship already?

Tenshi smiles happily and nuzzles him lovingly. A few tears run down her face I missed you so much Edo.. I'm so glad to see you.." She blinks and looks back at a upset looking Akito. "oh this is Akito! He's my friend we've known each other since we were young.." She giggles lightly and smiles.

Akito crosses his arms and glares at Edo "who's this guy Tenshi!? I don't remember you telling me about a guy named Edo.."

Tenshi blinks and frowns "I did so!!" She crosses her arms and looks at Akito. She turns to Edo "look I got your crosses.."

Edo rubs Tenshi's back while she nuzzles him. He took a free hand, and wiped her tears away, as well. "I missed you too, Tenshi." Edo whispers, "More than you can imagine." Edo then looks to Akito as Tenshi introduces him. "It's nice to meet you, Akito!" Edo greets, "As you've heard already, I'm Edo." Edo's face grew serious, however, when Akito glared at him. Edo was confused, and so he decided to ask Tenshi another question. "Why is he talking to me like..." Edo pauses as he thinks about why Akito addressed him as such. "Was he in a relationship with you one time, Tenshi?" Edo asks before looking at Akito, "Hey, Akito, can we at least be friends?" Edo frowns as everybody now seemed upset. However, he was happy when Tenshi gave him the four crosses. "I know what these do now." Edo states.

Tenshi blinks and blushes deeply shaking her head "no way! Me and Akito he's like my brother!" She giggles lightly and smiles. "what are you going to do Edo?"

Akito looks away a little hurt when he hears her say that. He sighs and looks at Edo. He waves his hand "yeah.. Yeah whatever.."

"What am I going to do?" Edo asks, "Well, I wanted to see if you would get my letter, then return home. Do you wanna join me?" Edo looks at Akito after this question is asked. He seemed very rude and definitely lacked manners. It was obvious he thought about Tenshi more than a friend, though Edo wasn't willing to give up his relationship just for that. "I'm glad you have such a good friend, Tenshi." Edo states, complimenting Akito, though he seemed to annoy him. Edo held Tenshi in his arms while he spoke to her.

Tenshi blinks and looks at him. She smiles big and nods her head "yes I would!" She giggles and kisses him lovingly. She nods her head happily "yeah Akito is the best!"

Akito looks at Edo when he compliments him. He looks at Tenshi and sighs. "Tenshi the council needs to see you when your done.. I be waiting for you to let you in.." He turns away and walks off.

Tenshi nods her head and smiles softly "alright Edo.."

Edo blushes when Tenshi kisses him. It had been awhile since he had been kissed, and now he received two of them. Edo also smiles in relief when Tenshi manages to compliment Akito with him enough to have everything calm down. The boy walked away, however, which frankly made things more peaceful and private between Tenshi and Edo. When Tenshi nodded her head the second time, Edo couldn't help but cup her cheeks in his hands, and kiss Tenshi repetitively and passionately on the lips. He wanted the trip home to be nice and slow.

Tenshi blinks when he cups her cheeks. She blushes deeply and kisses him back.

Edo laughs after he sees Tenshi blushing. He keeps his hands on her cheeks and says "I love when your cheeks get red. It makes you look adorable." Edo let go of Tenshi's cheeks afterwards, and held one of her hands tightly, running off with her towards his house. In minutes, the two arrive there, and Edo waves his arm towards the house. "TA-DA!" Edo announces.

Tenshi blushes deeply and looks away embarrassed after he let go of her cheeks. She blinks and looks at him as she follows him. She gasps and looks at his house. "oh wow it's amazing Edo!" She smiles and giggles hugging him tightly.

Edo hugs Tenshi back and kisses her gently on the lips when she comments on his house. "We can live here together, Tenshi." Edo smiles, "Does that sound good to you?" Edo examines the cheerful expression on Tenshi's face and gets excited, himself. "I just wanna spend all day and night with you. Its been awhile, anyway."

Tenshi giggles happily and kisses him back "that sounds perfect Edo!" She nuzzles him happily.

Edo smiles warmly when Tenshi compliments his idea. "Awesome! Let me show you inside then!" Edo suggests, gently grabbing Tenshi's hand again before running off into the house. The kitchen, the living room, the dining room, the bedroom, the recreation rooms; everything was huge! Edo had a feeling Tenshi would be excited about this, though he actually wanted to see it before making an assumption. "I had this place set on all of the adventures we've been on together." Edo comments

Tenshi looks around amazed as the walk around the house "wow Edo this is so amazing.." Tears well up in her eyes and hugs him tightly.

Edo laughs as Tenshi said exactly what he wanted to hear. Edo also hugs Tenshi back when she hugs him, and looks at her face. "Why are you crying?" Edo asks, "Did something bad happen?"

Tenshi looks at him and smiles "no.. No I'm just so happy.."

Edo blushes when Tenshi describes how happy she is. "I love you, Tenshi." Edo says before kissing Tenshi deeply on the lips, leaving it there for awhile. He brings her really close during the kiss, holding her by the waist and hugging her tightly. "I promise never to leave you again."

Tenshi blushes deeply kissing him back. She smiles lightly "promise Edo?" She holds out her pinkie to him.

"Promise!" Edo agrees, taking his pinky, and briefly wrapping it around Tenshi's before holding hands with her. "Consider this chapter two!" Edo adds, taking Tenshi 's hand and running into the house. "Take a look around! Walk all you want, and pack your stuff! Welcome home Tenshi!"

Tenshi smiles wide and tackles him to the ground. She nuzzles him as she cries "Edo!" She giggles softly and holds him close "I'll never let you go... We'll be together forever this time.."

Edo laughs when he is tackled to the ground. He gazes into Tenshi's eyes while she nuzzles him, and kisses her on the cheek. He was more than honoured to be with Tenshi, at the moment. Edo rubs Tenshi's back while she's on top of him in front of the house. "Forever, it is." Edo replies, cuddling with Tenshi while he is held close.
