Long Way From Home

Katie tugged on Connor's sleeve. "Please let me tell him," she whimpered. She waited for the summer fey boy to step aside.
She smiled at the mortal boy, and with a quick movement created a frozen flower made of ice and put it in the mortal boy's hand and and giggled. "I'm a winter faery."

"I see" he said as he gave her a warm smile, "It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Winter Faery". Raiden just ignored the boy, as he gently too the flower and looked at it closely, "Wow, it's pretty" he said softly, as he gazed upon its beauty

Katie giggled. "Thanks." she still kept a safe distance from the boy not knowing if her skin would burn to the bone if she touched him. But curiosity was killing her to at least touch his hand. "It's really nothing though... just a block of ice..." she said sighing deciding that what she wanted to do was too much of a risk.

"It's not the shape or from that gave it beauty, buy the warmth and kindness the person made it with, gave it such a brilliant beauty" Riaden said softy as looked up to her, he notice something was a miss. "Is something wrong?" he asked kindly

Katie looked at Connor sadly. "I'm sorry Connor, but I should tell him..." The summer fey glared at her but then just sighed. "Us faery's are dying in the mortal world..." she whispered.

"Yes well it obviously does not explain, why everyone is standing out here in the woods," Connor snarled. He was slowly getting his sanity back and he was furious. Was the winter girl insane? One touch from a human and she would die. Wasn't she even scared of the boy!? Well Connor wasn't he was a complete idiot. He wished he would die. Being in the mortal realm slowly drove you mad.

"Oh... I was just passing by... I'm kind of homeless. I use to live in Anartica, but I really don't know why I left...it was a bit lonely being the only one to survive there and all..." Katie whsiepred. She looked up at Connor and the mortal. "Where you two from?"

"Oh well I'm from the Summer Fey Court, was one of the head of King Oberon's military but I decided to behead my wife because I was bored, so I got exiled to the human realm so I've lived in these woods since then."
He felt the Winter Girl and Mortal both glaring at him. "What?" He rolled his eyes. "Fine, real reason... I was Head of military for King Oberon, but I was never married. I was exiled for saving a mortal boy from getting himself smashed into pieces b a troll. Okay I felt bad, he was only three years old. And we all know what happens when you get involved with humans...not that it matters now... since I'm exiled and all..."

Katie looked at the mortal boy hoping no one asked why she was exiled. "So where you from?" she asked him before anyone can get curious and ask if she was even exiled.

"Me? Just around I guess" he causally, there wasn't allot to say, he lived and trianed with his family, attened school now dose missons, not allot about him. "I just work form place to place, don't really stay to long" he said, trying hard to tell them more about himself, then it hit, "Oh yea, I don't wearing cloths, hate the things" he said, his voice was full of engery

Katie raised her eyebrow, it was true the boy was only wearing shorts at the time. He was bare-chested in this awful storm. Wasn't he afraid of getting sick?
Katie took her fur coat off and handed it to the boy. "Here I don't want you to get sick," she said. "Storm is probably going to get worse." she whispered hoping there was someway to give him the coat without coming in contact with his skin. She didn't want to be mean and just throw the coat at him. She extended her hand to give him the coat and she felt Connor beside her hold his breath as if he was afraid of the same thing. But Katie wasn't bothered if she dropped dead... then she would, there was no way around it. She was winter fey... she was suppose to be extinct. Besides she was almost dead anyways.

Raiden gave her a warm smile, "Thanks but I'm fine, I kninda used to it now, besides I hate for you to get sick" he said not taking her jacket. He take it bescuse he wasn't cold, truth is he enjoyed being half nacked during stroms, help with his lightning magic, be he didn't want them to know about that. "What are you guys gunna do now?" he asked turning to the two of them

Connor snarled at the winter fey girl. "What we should be doing is getting ourselves out of this storm first! And for her not to go around being suicidal!" Connor quickly shut himself up when he realized he said a nit too much infront of the mortal.

Raiden turned to connor, "I don't know if I've done something to up set up, but I have no intention to harm either of you, so please just relax, as for the storm, I can take there of that." His word were soft and sincere, and with a clap, lightning struck right behind him, as the clouds parted and the sky's cleared. "See, all good"

Connor's jaw dropped seeing what the boy could do. "What the hell! How did you just do that!"
And then Connor shook his head trying to calm yourself. "And my anger has nothing to do with you, it has to do with what we are," he said meaning by we' he met him and the winter girl.

Raiden just gave a childish grin, "Just magic" he said as he gave a childish grin, as he rubbed the back of his head, "But I don't see how what we are needs to fuel for hatred, It would be best if we can more pass this" he said with a soft but strong tone

"Nah bruh, what I meant had nothing to do with you it has to do with me and winter girl. You see if we're touched by humans we just...."
"Drop dead..." the winter girl said sadly.

It was true fey just dropped dead from human touch. Katie looked away feeling sad, and worried about the boy's reaction to it all.

"I see" he said simply, not really sure what to make of it, "I guess what would suck" he said slowly
