A new look at life (Berry)

merli smirks "then lets go out tonight!" she giggles lightly.

"I have to take care of Souta though.. I'm not sure if I can.." Gema wasn't exactly making an excuse, it was true. "I guess I could... he normally falls asleep around 10, and it's Friday so I suppose I could go out then.."

merli smiles "perfect! i'll even you take care of souta!" she giggles lightly.

"Um.. You can hang out here if you want to, but I'm still going to be taking care of Souta until 10.." Gema was a bit confused by what Merli said, it seemed oddly worded so Gema tried to respond in a way that she thought would work.

merli blinks "i know am going to help you take care of souta.." she giggles lightly.

"Oh.. Y-you don't have to do that you know.."

merli smiles and giggles "no i insist.."

"Alright.. Thanks." Gema hugged Merli tightly it wasn't exactly hard to work with Souta, but at time's he did get on Gema's nerves.

merli smiles and giggles "no problem!" she hugs her back.

"Really though, thanks." Gema said smiling.

merli smiles and hops up "no problem its my pleasure to help such a pretty girl!" she winks at her and giggles.

Gema blushed deeply. "You think I'm... pretty..?"

merli smiles and moves close to her face "of course i do.." she giggles lightly.

Gema blushed a bit deeper, she thought about what was going on then she thought she realized it. Gema kissed Merli on the lips.

merli blushes lightly and kisses her back. she hadn't be expecting that. she looks at her and smiles "your a brave one.." she giggles lightly.

A boy, defiantly 14 or 15 had walked in when Merli kissed Gema back. He was about the same height as Gema was, blonde hair and green eyes. He also had a look on his face like he was more than confused. Gema turned and saw the boy.

"S-Souta.. Your home.." Gema said blushing. Souta lowered his head, blushing, and walked up stairs.

merli blinks and giggles lightly "ooppss..." she looks at gema "did i make trouble... i could talk for him if you want.."

"Sure.. I've never had much of a love life which is probably why he's all confused.." Gema wasn't sure if she should be talking to Souta about this, Gema thought that Merli could do better than her though.
"If you could talk to him... that would be great.."

merli smiles and nods "ok then.." she walks upstairs and knocks on the door "hey souta are you alright kiddo?"

"I'm fine." Souta said seeming to snap back. He had never saw Gema with someone else before, so it was weird for him.

merli looks at the door and giggles "it doesn't sound like your fine... come on please talk to me? you wont feel so weird if you do.." she smiles lightly.

"Fine. I'll talk." Souta said not believing that he'll feel any different after the conversation.

merli smiles "thats good.. can i come in please?"

"Okay.. I guess.." Souta said opening the door. Souta's room had light purple colored walls, he had a few poster's of different bands on the walls, there was a desk near the window and his bed was a full size.

merli smiles and sits down on the bed "you have a nice room. now tell me whats wrong...whats bugging you souta?"
