The ego prince (fukuro)

izaya screams in pain "masaru!!" he falls to the ground and looks at him. a black figure appears in the room and knocks the butler out and kicks the women into the wall. the figure breaks masaru and izaya loose. then picks them both up and disappears and appears in the forest.

The rose seemed to still be dying slowly and Masaru's eyes were still dim. He seemed to be mumbling something.

izaya looks at masaru and crawls over to him "masaru.."

The roses petals were dark and nearly lifeless.

izaya kisses him lightly "don't..."

The rose's petals were soon black as night.

izayas eyes were dim. he coughs "masaru...."

Masaru's breathing was shallow and soon... came to a stop. Whatever that butler injected into Masaru it seemed to be acting like it was fatal.

the black figure takes off his mask. rukia looked scared, he cuts his arm "master drink some masaru needs you!"
izaya looks at him and drinks some of his blood. "thank you rukia.." he kisses him lightly and turns to masaru. he bites his neck and tries to take out what the butler injected into him. "masaru don't die.."

The rose didn't brighten in the least.

izaya pants lightly "damn it..." he keeps trying. "please live masaru!"

The petals didn't brighten. Nothing appeared to happen at all.

izaya growls "damn it damn it!!" he holds masaru close "what do i do.."

A dark form appeared near Izaya, Rukia, and Masaru. A lost soul. "Where... Where am I..?" It sounded like Masaru.

izaya blinks "masaru?"

"Izaya..? Where are you, I can't see anything... What the hell is going on, I'm really scared..." The spirit, most likely Masaru, admitted.

izaya had tears in his eyes. "get back in your body masaru.. stop being a lost soul!"

"What are you talking about? What do you mean..?" The lost soul Masaru eventually gained a shape that looked just like his real form, but he was still clearly a lost soul. Masaru could see again, he looked shocked and scared. "Is that.... me..?"

izaya nods and looks at the ground.
rukia had tears in his eyes "if i would have got there sooner!"

Masaru was speechless.

izaya looks at the ground "am sorry masaru..."

Masaru looked at Izaya. "Hey, don't get so down. You both did what you could right?" Masaru smiled. "I died not because of whatever was in that needle. This is karma for calling myself something I'm not: A god. "

izaya looks at him "you don't deserve this! i'll kill that witch!!"

"Go ahead." Masaru said looking at Izaya.

izaya blinks and looks at him "i'll find a way to fix this.. i won't let you be a lost soul.." he starts to run off then falls to the ground.
rukia gasps "master!"
