Waterfront town and a new mystery (Berry)

gray looks around "interesting.." he follows shin inside.

Shin walked down to the basement and turned on the lights. The basement was huge and empty. in the center of the basement was a large star engraved into the concrete, there was a red liquid that flowed through the lines of the star. Before very long 4 people appeared around the star, they didn't seem to care about Gray being there and they were all wearing red robes that covered them from head to toe no part of them was visible. One of them was holding a bottle that looked like a wine bottle, except it was open and appeared empty.
Shin took off his kimono then laid down in the center of the star. The liquid in the lines of the star started to glow and the one with the thought to be empty wine bottle started to pour a red liquid over Shin's body. Shin was clearly in pain as he body twitched around. His hands and feet seemed to be restrained by nothing, but he clearly couldn't move them.

gray looks at him and growls unhappily seeing him in pain. he looks at shin and talks to him through his mind 'shin are you alright?!'

'I... I'm fine....' Shin thought to Gray. Shin was clearly in pain though.

gray growls more 'your lying! what do you want me to do? whats happening?!'

'Don't do anything' Just-' Shin stopped there because something had a hold of his neck. He couldn't see anything there but it felt like something was choking him.

gray blinks and looks at him "shin!" he couldn't stay quiet anymore. "stop what your doing to shin! hes in pain!"

one of the people in the robes looked back at Gray. "He is not in pain. He merely had not yet been thought his judgment yet." The robed man said.
"Once he had gotten though this, he will never know pain again.." The robed female said.
Shin was crying, it was so hard for him to breath now.

gray growls "he can't breath! stop it now!!" his eyes were turning red. he didn't care anymore he runs toward shin.

None of the robed people seemed to care. "Why should we stop? He merely need's to survive or he will be come one of us." The robed female said seeming confused. it was like none of them understood the idea of pain.
Eventually Shin wasn't moving anymore.

gray growls and grabs shin "humans feel pain! humans die!! its not right to put them through something when someone is in pain!" he holds shin close. he looks at shin with a worried look "please don't die shin.." he had tears in his eyes. he glares at all the people in robes "if he dies i'll kill every last one of you.."

"It will not be our fault if he dies." The robbed man said.
Shin still wasn't moving, and it was clear that he wasn't breathing too.

(i know but still..gray doesn't care he breaths so hes human! lolz)
gray growls at them "your demons!" he holds shin close "please don't die!"

The four people disappeared as if they were never even there. Shin still wasn't moving. The red liquid that filled the lines of the star started to glow. Shin coughed a few times before he started to breath.

gray looks at him "shin!" he hugs him tightly. "are you ok?!"

Shin's eyes were normal again. "Yeah.."

gray had tears in his eyes "i was so scared i..i thought i lost you." he hugs him tightly as the tears fell down his face.

Shin kissed Gray lovingly. "I was scared too."

gray looks at the ground "i should've grabbed you sooner...am sorry shin.." he looks at him as the tears ran down his face.

Shin kissed gray deeply and lovingly. "No, it's alright.. I'm okay now, and that's what matters."

gray kisses him back and holds him close "shin.."

"Lets just go..." Shin said grabbing his kimono.

gray nods "alright.." he smiles and blinks "what happened to you though?" he tilts his head and looks at shin "those people said if you surivied you'd be like them...what are they?"

"Your guess is as good as mine." Shin had no idea what was supposed to happen during the ritual either.

gray nods he walks up to shin and kisses him deeply and lovingly "promise you'll alway be shin... i don't want you to change into those people.." looks at him.
