The master's pet (Berry)

"..I'm not really sure. When I walked around yesterday there weren't a whole lot of bed rooms left." Shin said. "Follow me, some of them looked pretty nice."

ai nods and follows him. "thank you.."

"It's no trouble. I'm sure you'll like the room, the bed's are pretty nice." Shin said. He smiled lightly and lead Ai to one of the bed rooms he saw he was empty yesterday. The room wasn't as big as some of the other bedrooms, but it was still a pretty good size, there was a window on the wall opposite the door and the full size bed was under the window. Nothing else but a dresser and a nightstand appeared to be in the room.

ai looks around "i like it.." she walks over to the bed and sits down.

"I'm sure you'll enjoy the bedroom." Shin smiled warmly. Shin walked up to Ai. "Is there... anyone you were taken from?" Shin asked cautiously, not wanting to force Ai to remember anything.

ai blinks and thinks. small ai nods her head.

Shin looked at small Ai. "I'm so sorry for you.. But I'll stay good on my word and help you get out of here." Shin smiled warmly. He really wanted to help Ai, and now he only had more of a reason.

Ai looks at him and smiles "your nice."

Shin smiled warmly. "Thank you." Shin bowed a little. "Come find me if you need help with anything, okay?"

Ai nods "ok I will thank you." She lays down and yawns.

Shin smiled. "I'll leave you to your rest." Shin said leaving the room.

A butler bumps into shin "dinner is done and master oni will not be home tonight."

"Thank you. Um, by chance did you know why he's not going to be here tonight?" Shin asked curiously.

The butler looks at him "koyuki.." He bows and walks away.

Shin was a little confused, he couldn't think of anyone he knew named Koyuki. He walked around the mansion for a little bit before asking a maid. "Um, excuse me, would you happen to know who Koyuki is?"

The butler blinks "didn't you meet her? She is master oni wife.."

"Oh, I didn't know that was her name." Shin said.

The butler nods "also oni said to watch the girl.."

"Why...? What threat could she really pose..?" Shin asked acting like he didn't care about Ai.

The butler shrugs "not sure he just said to check on her and stuff.."

"Okay.. I'll be sure to do that." Shin said.

The butler nods and leaves.

Shin wanted to let Ai rest, so when he got to her door he opened it a crack to see inside.

Ai sits up and looks at him "yes?"

Shin blushed and opened the door. "Sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you. I just wanted to make sure that you were alright.. It seems like master Oni isn't going to be here for a while, so this is probably our best chance to get you out of here."
