On the run (berry)

Walter sighed as he got out of the bed in the motel he had been staying at. He looked at his wallet, this would be his second day without good to pay for his room rent. He got up and got dressed. He threw his scarf around his neck and went into town.

Ivy giggles as she looks at some flowers. She was thinking of handing them out to everyone she meet. Even though she was already on almost everyone good side. It always helped to lay on the sweetness so in case a accident happens she would be the person anyone would think of. She giggles and buys a bunch of flowers and started handing them out.

Walter sat on the curb of the street. He looked at the road sign. "Maker lane..." Walter said saying it's name aloud. "Same name..." Walter said trying not to punch the closet person to him.

Ivy smiles as she walks up to Walter. She gives him one of the last flowers she had. "here you go sir.. A little flower to brighten up your day.." She giggles softly and blushes lightly.

"Thanks." Walter said a little monotonously.

Ivy blinks and tilts her head. He wasn't acting like everyone else that she gave a flower to what was his problem
She blushes more and looks at him. She sits down next to him "is something bothering you sir?"

Walter looked at ivy then at the flower. Walter placed the flower on the curb. And prayed.

Ivy blinks and looks at him. Did someone dead here that he knew. A small smirk appeared on her face for a spilt second as she thought of death. She quickly looks down and decides to pray with him. She did wonder what happened though.

Walter stopped praying and sighed.

Ivy looks at him and pats his back softly. "would you like to talk about it sir?" She blushes and acts slightly flustered by her actions. "oh uh you... You don't have to I mean.. We.. We just met and all.. You don't even know my name.." She quickly bows "my.. My names ivy by.. By the way.." She looks at him embarrassed.

"I'm Walter." Walter said. He posted ivy on the back. "Thank you for paying with me."

Ivy blinks and blushes lightly. She gives him a warm smile "it was nothing really.. It just seemed right.." She fiddles with the bottom of her dress.

Walter patted ivy on the back again and started to walk off.

Ivy blinks and frowns when he starts to walk off. He hadn't told her anything. She gets up quickly and smiles at him when she catches up "mind if I walk with you?"

"I'm fine with that." Walter said.

Ivy smiles warmly and wraps her arms around one of his as they walk. She hums a soft little song.

Walter kept walking. He didn't really have any where to go, he just usually walked for a few hours then went back to his motel room to lay down and try to keep his stomach from eating itself.

Ivy looks at him and bites her lip. She smiles "would you like to get some food?"

"I don't have any money.." Walter said.

Ivy smiles "that's fine I'll buy.."

"Okay.." Walter said.

Ivy giggles and pulls him across the street to a small diner. "this place as really good food!"

"Okay." Walter said. He hadn't been here before, or any food place in town, so he wouldn't know.

Ivy giggles and pulls him to a booth. "they serve the best chicken pot pie here!" She smiles at him warmly.

"I haven't had chicken pot pie before." Walter said
