On the run (berry)

Ivy giggles and looks at him "would you like to try it?"

sure." Walter said.

Ivy orders two pot pies, she looks back at him. "so why don't you have money? Do you not have a job?"

"Well, there's that, and because of rent." Walter said.

Ivy blinks and looks at him "rent?" She tilts her head.

"Rent is what you pay to stay somewhere." Walter explained.

Ivy giggles and blushes "I know that.. I guess I wasn't very clear.. Does your rent cost so much that you don't have enough money for food?" She looks at him worried.

"I'm staying at a motel and it's 50 bucks a night. I sort of have to choose between rent or food." Walter explained.

Ivy looks at him and thinks for a moment "why don't you come stay with me? You can pay me by doing a little work around the house.. How does that sound?"

"Sounds good.." Walter said.

Ivy giggles and smiles happily "alright than we have a deal!" She looks at the food as it arrived. "alright let's dig in!"

"Okay.." Walter said starting to eat.

Ivy smiles as she eats the food, once they were done she paid for the meal. She walks to the door and starts to lead Walter to her house. "there's a room your not aloud to go into alright when we get to my house.."

"Okay" Walter said.

Ivy smiles as they walk into her home. "make yourself at home.." She walks to her room "I'm taking a shower alright.. The room you can't go in has a big flower on it.." She closes the bathroom door.

"Okay." Walter said heading to the living room.

Ivy hums softly as she takes a shower. She gasps "oh no I forgot to show him to Leroy!" She gets out and wraps a big towel around herself. She runs out to see the big dog creeping up on Walter. She stomps her foot "Leroy no bad boy! He's a friend he lives with us now! No hurting him.." She looks at the dog as it glares at Walter.

Walter looked at the dog not seeming to care.

Ivy blinks and looks at him "you don't have to worry.. He's really sweet once you get to know him.." She blushes lightly and heads quickly to the bathroom again.

Walter looked at the dog then stretched.

Leroy growls at Walter "you better not hurt ivy!" He glares at him and stands up.

"Why would I? I have no reason to." Walter said.

Leroy growls "doesn't matter mate I don't trust you.. If you make one wrong move I'll rip your throat out.." He gets back down on all fours and runs to ivy nuzzling her leg.

Ivy smiles and pets him "so you two are friends now?" Leroy barks happily and wags his tail.

"I've certainly met worse." Walter said.

Ivy blinks and looks at Walter "what do you mean Walter?" She stands up and tilts her head.
