Trying to be normal (berry)

"People don't like the organization that I work for because we're supposedly trying to bring the war that's currently going on between the angles and demons. People-" Kiz stopped because a rock had been thrown at her. It hit her right eye, making it bleed.

Zumi gasps and looks at Kiz "Kiz!" She grabs a napkin.

Lelou growls unhappily and stands up "who threw the rock?!"

Kiz stood up slowly. "Don't concern yourself." She said to Lou.

Lelou looks at her "but you shouldn't have rocks thrown at you! You did nothing wrong!"

Zumi looks at Kiz and Lelou.

"Unfortunately you don't get a say in what the town thinks of what we do." Kiz said. Her eye was still dripping blood but it was like nothing to her. If it was hurting her at all, she was doing a amazing job at hiding it

Lelou looks at her "what could you do to make a whole town hate you?!"

"Just work with the army branch I work with and it won't just be one town that wants to rip out your guts." Kiz said seriously.

Lelou growls and pulls her to the back. "what do you tell.."

Zumi stays in the booth and fiddles with the napkin.

"Just don't worry about me. Okay." Kiz said seriously.

Some of the people in the resultant glared at Zumi.

Zumi shrinks into the corner of the booth.

Lelou looks at Kiz and growls "my sister is out there so I'm worried about her.. I need to know so I can protect her!"

My branches job is to keep the other realms from over lapping, meaning we keep the realms from turning into one. It would be pure chaos of we didn't exist." Kiz said.

Lelou looks at her "why would people be mad about that.. I don't understand.."

Because of what my branch calls the M incident, demons passed through a dimensional gate that we thought we had locked. And so The Massacre had started because of us." Kiz said. "Ever sense then people believe that we allow beings from the other realms into our world when it's our job to keep the realms from melding together."

Lelou sighs "people are stupid.." He growls and pulls her chin so he could look at her eye "you should put some ice on it.."

"It's fine. I've already survived internal bleeding, and having limbs sliced off. This is nothing." Kiz said.

Lelou looks at her "do it for Zumi.."

"Fine." Kiz said.

Lelou nods his head and starts to head out.

Zumi squeaks from the booth and whines.

Kiz headed out of the back.

People went back to their food.

Lelou hugs Zumi letting her know not to worry. He grabs her hand "I'm not hungry let's go.."

Zumi blinks "where is Kiz?" She follows him out of the restaurant.

Kiz was already out of the restaurant. She was calling someone on her cellphone. "Yeah.. Okay." She hung up.

Lelou points to Kiz for Zumi.

Zumi smiles and runs to Kiz. She hugs her tightly "your ok right Kiz?"

Kiz nodded. "I said I was fine Zumi." She smiled lightly for Zumi and kissed her forehead thinking it was what she was supposed to do.

Zumi blushes lightly and smiles "come have a sleep over at our house Kiz!" She giggles happily and smiles.

Lelou blinks and blushes deeply "Zumi you shouldn't be so pushy!"

Kiz looked slightly shocked but quickly calmed herself down. "Okay I suppose.." Kiz said.
