A new way (berry)

Reno nods his head and leaves.

Sammy looks at Suki "I'm.. I'm sorry for being a bother.."

Suki smiled warmly and kissed Sammy's forehead. "Your no bother at all. I just put a duck in the oven so it'll be a bit before dinnertime."

Sammy smiles lightly "that's fine.. Thank you so much Suki.."

Suki smiled warmly. "The guest bedroom is up stairs and the first door on the right. Feel free to decorate it with whatever you like."

Sammy hugs him "thank you so much.." She heads up the guest room.

The guest bedroom was a light cream color and it had a queen size bed and a window with a great view of the city. The closet was a big walk in closet.

Sammy blinks and looks around the room. "oh wow!!" She giggles and looks out the window.

Reno was at the cafe talking to Suoh.

Suki walked into the guest room. "yeah, I know it's an awesome view. The windows are shatter proof so it doesn't open and it will keep us both protected from just about whatever those guys can throw at us, even demon attacks."

Sammy looks at him and smiles "that really makes me feel a lot better.. But I don't understand why they attacked me.. I don't evenhang out with the gang people.."

"I think it's because you were with Reno. Even if you know someone in a rival gang, it can land you in some deep hot water.." Suki explained. He rubbed his shoulder, almost like something was there.

Sammy blinks and tilts her head "is something wrong with your shoulder? I can help if it's bothering you.." She smiles warmly and moves his hand and looks at his shoulder.

The tattoo symbol of the rival gang of Reno's was on Suki's shoulder, it looked more like a burn mark than a tattoo though, and some of the fur grown over it made it slightly hard to notice.

Sammy blinks and looks at Suki "why do you have that mark?" She backs up slightly nervous.

I was in the gang during high school..." Suki admitted. "I left it after I graduated and had the tattoo remove, it hasn't healed fully yet so it should look like a burn mark..." Suki said.

Sammy blinks "why were you in it though?" She looks at him

I was forced into it for protection..." Suki said.

Sammy looks at him and tilts her head "protection form what Suki?"

"Getting beat up..." Suki said looking at the ground.

Sammy looks at him and hugs him "I'm sorry Suki.."

Reno walks in and crosses his arms "Suki we need to talk.." He walks down stairs.

Suki was shocked that Reno had heard. He walked down stairs.

Reno glares at Suki "why didn't you tell me.. Do you know how important that is?!"

"I'm sorry.."Suki teared up. He started walking up to Reno before Suki was hit to the ground by Souh.

Reno looks at Suoh "I told you not to hit him!"

Suoh looks at Reno "he's puts you in danger and the girl you were talking about.. I had to hit him once.."

Reno sighs and rolls his eyes "whatever.." He kneels next to Suki "the reason Sammy got attacked was because one of your old gang buddies seen us together.."

"I don't have any more connection with any of them though..." Suki said. He reached out to hold Reno's hand. But Suoh stomped Suki's hand down. Suki shouted in pain.

Reno sighs and glares at Suoh "Suoh go sit.."

Suoh growls and sits down. "I don't want him touching you.."

Reno looks at Suki "you might not but they have connections on you.. They watch everything you do out in public.."
