A new way (berry)

"What accident." Yuki wanted to know. She walked into the elevator.

Reno glares at her and takes off his shirt showing her the burn mark on his back. "when I was younger I got into this weird accident that took away my power to be able to turn into a mermaid... And to have a family.."

Yuki looked at the burn mark. "This is a curse mark. Someone planned to do that for you..it was no accident.." Yuki said.

Reno looks at her and glares slightly. "what do you mean?"

"I mean someone wanted this to happen, maybe not to you, but they planned for our and you got hit with that curse mark." Yuki said.

Reno pushes her against the wall unhappy "why would anyone want to do this to someone?! How do you seem to know so much?!" His muscles were tensing up from the anger building inside him.

"Because this is exactly what happened to my younger brother. No Suki, Suki was to young to even remember him.." Yuki said. "He got hit by a fire curse mark when he was only a few months old. He was BURNED ALIVE, a child only months old, the target of something so serious..." Yuki said starting to tear up.

Reno blinks and let's her go. He looks away and puts his shirt back on.

"I know how to cure it.." Yuki said wiping her tears.

Reno looks at her "Suoh said there was no cure he's tried everything.."

"Maybe everything he knows." Yuki said.

Reno glares at her "then what's the cure.."

"Suoh really only knows fire magic right? Normally for puts out fire. Not in this case." Yuki said.

Reno blinks and looks at her confused "what are you talking about?!"

"Ice magic. The curse mark feeds on your body temp, so it can't have it rising or lowering too much. But if your fully covered in ice, then the curse mark won't have anything to feed off of." Yuki said.

Reno looks at her "I don't see how that will work.. My body gives off a mass amount of heart just like Suoh when I get cold.. The ice will just melt.. Besides even if the curse mark is gone I won't be able to turn into a mermaid or have a family.." He sighs and runs a hand through his hair. He slides to the floor.

Yuki sighed and looked at Reno. "At least in trying to come up with an idea on how get rid of it."

Reno looks at her with an emotionless face. "why not just stab it.." He flips out a knife and holds it out to her.

"Then it will feed on your blood and keep the sound from getting a scab. You'll continuously bleed until you lose all your blood." Yuki said.

Reno looks at her "so what.. Then I wouldn't hurt anyone anymore.."

Yuki slapped Reno. "Don't talk like that."

Reno looks at her "why not?" He holds his face where she slapped him.

"Because. I- Suki doesn't want you to disappear! Don't you have any feelings for him?!" Yuki said seriously.

Reno blinks and looks at her "why did you say I before you said Suki?"

"That's not important..."Yuki said.
