Once Upon A Warm Summer's Night (Open)

Subject: Once Upon A Warm Summer's Night (Open) Wed May 02, 2012 5:16 am

It was a warm summer’s night and Leo was stuck. She had been on the trail of something interesting when she had wound up in a tree. It seemed she was better at climbing up trees, rather then down them.
It was still hours before dawn and hours still before someone would walk past and find her. They might even help her down. She decided to get comfortable, so she lay back against the truck of the tree and closed her eyes.
She heard a rustling noise and the sound of foot steps approaching. She slowly opened her eyes and faced the direction the sounds were coming from.

Bryce kept walking through the woods trying to calm down and not get all angry. He was tired of his whole family always arguing. But then that was the life of being a human boy who could turn into an extinct animal. A saber-tooth tiger.
In his human form he kept walking his boots crunching the leaves below him as he walked.
He heard a whimper and raised his head to look up in the trees. He saw what seemed like a neko girl stuck in the trees. Bryce raised an eyebrow unamused. "You stuck?" he asked smirking.

"Yes." she said in her flat monotone manner. "Now if you wouldn't mind helping me down." She was blunt and to the point. As soon as she was out of this tree she was back on the hunt for interesting things. She didn't want to have to wait.

Bryce smirked. "Now why would I do that when you havent even said please?"
Bryce was only saying this to make the neko mad but in the end decided to help her. "Fine then." Bryce phased into a saber-tooth tiger and jumped up to where she was in one leap and used his teeth to pick her up by her shirt and then jumped back down from the tree. Once he released her he phased back to human form. He didnt care if the girl noticed his ancient saber-tooth appearence. Usually it was a secret and no one should know but he felt like pissing off a few people.

She looked at him. Maybe he was interesting after all. She pulled out a little old, brown note book and a pen. She wrote down his description on a blank page. She would have liked to find out more, but she was still on the hunt for the interesting thing that caused her to get stuck in the tree. She had a feeling that it wouldn't stick around for ever.
"Thank you." She made her goodbye, and then disappeared into the night.
She followed her senses to a clearing in the small woods. She found a large pond that she couldn't be bothered to walk around. She froze it solid then slid across the ice like an expert. She reached the other side and continued walking through the clearing to the woods. The trees were thicker here. She just hoped she wouldn't get stuck in one, no one would find her out here.

Bryce only phased into his saber-tooth tiger form and jumped in front of her. "Watcha ya wrote down? Also why running off so soon?" Bryce said still in his ancient form. He was curious with the girl she was very interesting.

She didn't even blink.
"You seemed interesting, so I wrote down what I had discovered. I would have liked to investigate further but as you can see I'm busy. I'm on the trail for the interesting thing." She continued walking. She was becoming more curious about this thing she was hunting. She just hoped it wasn't too far away.

"Ohhhh that sounds "Interesting!" Bryce said sarcasticlly. "And exactly what is this "interesting thing?"'
The girl said nothing.
"And why write my description down, I'm completely dull except that I've been alive since the ice age."
Still nothing, "Hello gurl? Can you hear me? I'm not gonna leave you alone till you tell me what that "interesting thing" is?"

"I don't know." She said with her usual bored expression. "I haven't found it yet. I just know that is going to be interesting." He looked at her like she was crazy.
"But why did you say I was interesting?" He asked.
"Because you’re different." She looked him in the eyes, and then continued walking. She wanted to find this thing before night ended. Her senses told her it was moving.

"Like a sixth sense?"
"Yeah, for interesting things. If your curiosity is burning, follow me." She was on the hunt and would not be delayed further.

She just hoped he wouldn't slow her down. When she was on the trail of something she was going to find out what it was. She was stubborn like that.
The trees were getting thick now, and the thing was closer. She speed up, ducking out of the way of low hanging branches. She had been running through forests for years, and was quiet skilled at weaving through the tangle of leaves and branches. Her sense were going wild, it must be up ahead.

Bryce kept up with her by phasing in his tiger form running right beside her. He wonder what the thing she was looking for was. He felt this weird fuzzy feeling was it the thing that they were looking for making him feel like this? Was it dangerous?

Leo was getting close. She jumped over a fallen tree and there it was. It was a boy.
"You're the source of interesting?" She was a little confused. Her senses were telling her that he was more interesting then he seemed.

Bryce was still in his saber-tooth tiger form and softly growled trying to warn the girl that this boy may possibly be dangerous. Bryce didn't want to take chances, he had felt power surging through the woods when he was close to the boy so who knows what this guy was capable of!

Leo walked up to the boy and started to circle him. She poked him and inspected him.
"Hmmm..." She sniffed him. "You do seem to be different." She prodded his face.
"Odd." She took out her note book and a pen and began to write.

Soul watches as the girl walks around him. he chuckles then looks at the tiger and smirks. he growls at it and barks. he laughs then looks at the girl as she writes down. "what do you mean am different?" he smirks "is it because i can control fire and teleport and am also a half demon werewolf?" his hand lights on fire and he disappears and reappears by a close tree. "cant everyone do that?" he smirks

Leo looked up and then continued writing.
"No. You are different." She closed her book. "But controlling elements is not that uncommon." She stood facing a tree and used her powers to suck all of the moister from it. With out warning she flung the water at the boy. Strike. She giggled as the water dripped from him.
