A lonely empty village

Lana was surprised at the girls response, but was happy that she was okay, "You had me scared there angel." She stopped crushing the herbs."you okay?"

"mommy!" she smiles and hugs her. she coughs more and looks at lana.

Living for nearly 1000 years, she had no memory of children, "sai," Her right hand hovered over the girl, trying to detect if anything was wrong with her body. Her organs seemed fine, well the liver didn't seemed tainted from human junk, which was a good thing, "do you need to lie down?" She asked as she tried to remember if there was a chance that she was pregnant in the pas. Alarm bells rang in her head, their could have been a moment years ago, but other then that impossible. One of her sisters had a kids and they all were Gumiho's this girl wasn't. maybe she just looked like her mother.

Sai smiles like a small child "i feel fine mommy!" she hugs her more.

Whats going on. Lana smile, "I think you need some rest." She couldn't call for help since a no one lived here and B no reception. Something had happened to Sai and she wasn't sure what to do.

Sai giggles "ok mommy i'll lay down!" she crawls in lanas lap and closes her eyes.

Lana leaned against the wall, she didn't want to wake the girl up. Crazy scenarios happen in her head of the chance of having a child. An idea came in her head. The only way to know if the girl was saying the truth was ask what her father looked like. The she will mention some random person that I don't know of and there will be nothing to worry about.

Sai nuzzles lana and smiles happily in her sleep.

When she noticed the girl was fully asleep she carefully pushed her aside. In truth there was rumors of drugs and other illegal things being sold with in the area. Lana had come here also to see if it was true, and if it was take there lives. She looked back at the sleeping girl before closing the door behind her.

Sai moves around in her sleep she was having a nightmare. her mom was being attacked by a wolf man. her mom sent her away to safety.

Walking into the town she sensed the peoples location. The heart of the village. closing her eyes she let her inner fox come out. Nine white tails appeared and her nails turned into claws. She stalked around the building working out the best way to get in without getting hurt. The wind felt colder then it should have against her skin, something else was gong on.

Sai cries out in sleep and walks up. she looks around "mommy?!" she gets up and runs around. she couldn't find lana. she sits in the corner and cries "mommy noo.."

Lana jumped on the roof, trying not to make to much noise. Pulling away some planks she looked down at an empty room before jumping in. Three female, two male and something that was not human was what she sensed int the room, two out of the six had a use for her.

sai curls up into a ball and looks at the door. she takes a deep breath "maybe momma is outside..." she wipes her tears and opens the door. "Mommy!!!"

everyone heard the scream of the girl. She pushed the door open to take the peoples attention, they can't go after the girl, when she is in that state, "Police, stop where you are. And did I for got to tell you that I am a gumiho." Her nine tails waved in the air. Her eyes glowed as darkness slowly took over the room.

Sai looks around and begins to run around "mommy!" she begins to breathe heavily "mommy where are you?!"

The three females or the other thing did not seem to be in the room with two two men, with a quick move she took their livers in her hands and ran out kicking the door open. She leaned against a tree as ate one of the livers. The girls calls became louder but she ignored them watching the house to see if anyone else would come out. Her guess was the girls were prisoners and the other thing was guarding them. Now she had to find a way to save them

Sai sits down in the snow for a moment. she takes anotherdeep breath and stands up. "mommy!" tears start flowing down her face again.

More movement came from the house as the girl cried. She ran to the source of the crying while eating the other liver quickly. "Get inside, now Sai." She said forgetting to whip the bold off or hide her nine tails.

Sais eyes widen and nod she runs back to the house. she looks back at lana "i love you mommy!"

Lana stood in the snow, lucky there was no trail of blood she went inside the tavern. Once inside she ripped up some floor boards, "One inside don't make a sound, just sleep and be quite." She said. The other thing will find out that his mates are dead and might go out looking for the uninvited guest, she had to protect the angel at all costs.

Sai shakes her head and hugs her "no you'll get hurt! the wolf man will get you!"

"a fox is better is better in many ways, i'll be fine" She held to boards up."Just stay inside for now okay."

Sai looks at her "ok momma.." she hops down under the broads and waves to lana.

Lana dropped the boards in place and moved a set of boxes over them. She walked around the building turning off all the light she could find and curled up into a ball. with her head resting on one of her tails she watched the door for movement.
