The exam..(open)

Anji smiles as she looks for a book. she was here to study for an exam but she was taking a break. she decides to listen to some music while she looked.

Hayato walked into the library reading the last of a manga that he didn't have due until next week. He had an exam coming up and he couldn't afford to get anything wrong. But the subject was science for him, his best subject. Hayato felt like he might as well goof off sense he could pass the test anyway.
Hayato put the manga into the return slot and saw someone that looked familiar to him, from the back of the head anyway. Hayato walked up behind he girl listening to music and tapped her shoulder.

anji jumps and drops the manga she was going to read, it was something new for her. she turns around and takes out the headphones. she blushes lightly "uuhh yes can i help you with something?"

"Aren't you in one of my classes? Science... right?" Hayato knew that he had seen her in one of his classes before, he just wasn't entirely sure on which one. Hayato actually had her in three of his classes: Science, history, and math.

Anji blushes more "uuhh yeah i think so.." she picks up the books she had dropped, trying to hide the blush.

Hayato looks over at the manga. "I love that series. I just finished the one after that one. You'll be surprised by what Eri reveals about herself, so be ready for a bit of soft yuri in the next one."

anji blinks and blushes as she looks at the manga. "yuri?!" she falls backward blushing deeper. she covers her face feeling embarrassed.

"Yeah. Eri reveals that she's gay to Dai, they don't break up but Eri makes a secret relationship with another girl. The other girl's name wasn't given and the farthest they show as far as yuri goes is kissing and hand holding." Hayato said as he got the girl before she fell to the floor.

Anji blushes "well uuhh i actually never read these manga before..." she looks away.

"You know your reading the fifth manga in the series then right? The first through third manga's will help with explaining some of the characters, the story doesn't really start until the third manga a few chapters before the end of that one." Hayato smiled, he thought the series was a good one, but starting late in the series made it confusing.

anji blushes out of embarrassment "oh uhh thank you.." she bows "my names anji zeno.."

"I'm Hayato Mikio. It's nice to meet you Anji. I'll keep an eye out for you." Hayato smiled and looked at Anji before leaving the library. He would be sure to look for her tomorrow.

anji blushes deeply and decides she should go back to studying. she looks at the manga mikio was talking to her about and decides to get the first three.

The next day Hayato never showed up. Hayato had been sent to the hospital and was in critical condition at the moment.

-Flashback-
"Alright, so I'm supposed to take out the leader demon? Why me? Hayato asked looking at the other DE's. One of them spoke up, one of the few females in all of DE. "Simple. because your the strongest out of this sector of DE."
Hayato sighed. "Fine. I'll be the one to fight it.."
By the time that Hayato got to the leader demon he was already wounded and rather badly at that. Something about Anji kept her popping up in his mind.
By the end of the fight with the leader demon, the leader demon was dead but Hayato had lost some of his torso as well.
-Flashback over-

The woman who had talked to Hayato yesterday before attacking the leader demon knocked down the door to the history class room, she was dressed in her demon exterminator uniform, but she didn't look any older than 20 years. She walked up to Anji. "Anji Zeno. Mr. Mikio said he would be seeing you today, sense's he's in the hospital at this time you'll be coming with me to go see him."
The woman didn't both to ask the teacher or anything, she grabbed Anji's arm and dragged her into a Jeep then in under an hour Anji was brought to Hayato's hospital door.

Anji was in shock as the lady dragged her out of class. "wh...what happened to meiko?"

The woman didn't answer her. She just opened the door and dragged Anji inside. "Sir. I brought her here." The woman saluted before leaving.
Hayato weakly looked over to Anji. Hayato had lost what looked like basically a quarter of his torso from the lungs to the waist, like something took a bit out of him.

anji looks at him in shock "hayato what happened to you.." she walks over to him.

"The price of being a demon exterminator... Hayato smiled and looked at Anji trying to pretend that everything was alright.

anji looks at him her white wings appear and her eyes change to a blue color. "hayato..." she leans close to his face.

"Anji..." Hayato looked at Anji, soon putting his lips to hers, kissing her lightly.

anji puts a hand on hayatos wound and she begins to glow and the wound begins to slowly heal. she kisses him more deeply.

Hayato kissed Anji deeply back.

after the wound was healed anjis wings went away and anji went back to normal. she blinks and falls back blushing deeply "uuhh.."

"Are you alright Anji?" Hayato said looking at Anji.

anji blushes deeply "am....am fine.." she fixs her skirt and sits up. she looks at the ground embarrassed.
