| Jack's Zweihander sang as it cut through the early morning mist, the huge blade dancing around the glade and the pegasus' body like a ballerina. The two of them moved as one, choreographing the demise of hostiles like they had so many times before.
Jack paused in mid lunge, wings flapping slowly to keep him from falling as he contemplated his sword. For two and a half decades she had been his companion, from the moment that she had lead him to get his cutie mark through the disaster that was the Griffin Peacekeeping to his entrapment in this dimension. In all that time, through all that strife that she had aided him through, he had never graced her with a name. It was time for that to change.
Jack wracked his brain for something appropriate when he remembered his Family motto; fugite ergo a ventus Saltatio, on a dancing wind we fly. Ventus Saltatio, dancing wind. It was perfect, short, poetic and descriptive.
The two of them danced together for a while longer before they stopped. The tips of Jack's pinions tingled and he spun to face to source, sword up and his guard raised. | |

| Arisa laid in the long grass looking throwing her ball of water into the air and catching it again. So far it had been a quite day for her plus she had just finished drawing a henna tattoo of a flower on her ankle and was waiting for it to dry so that after she could do some training or something else. the day was still young and there were so many different ways she could spend with it. She lifted her right leg up to see if the tattoo had dried up yet and sighed when she saw that it was still not ready yet. Each time she threw the water ball higher and higher in the air. |
