A New Life (Berry)

Tenshi looked at the ground. "But edo..." She looks at him and hugs him tightly "They didn't take your wings did they?" Tears well up in the corner of her eyes.

"Yes, unfortunately." Edo responds. He hugs Tenshi back just as tight, and kisses her gently on the lips. His powers were suspended, though his wings were taken away permanently. Thankfully, the Head Angels knew a way to confiscate the wings harmlessly. There weren't even any scars on Edo's back, or wounds. He rubs Tenshi's back gently while he hugs her, and Edo whispers. "There's no need to worry, Tenshi. I still have you in my life, and we'll have tons of fun together."

Tenshi looks at him and starts to cry. "it's all my fault I'm sorry Edo.. If I listened maybe you would still have your wings!" She clings to him tightly "I'm so sorry Edo.. I'm sorry.." She cries into his shirt "they shouldn't have taken your wings.. They should've taken mine.. I don't want to fly if you can't.." She looks at him still crying. She couldn't stop herself.

Edo smiles warmly and gazes into Tenshi's eyes, resting his hands on her arms. "It's not your fault, Tenshi. We both thought what we were doing was right, and we were both trying to help a friend. Neither of us knew it was gonna end up like this." Edo kisses Tenshi again, and rests his forehead on hers. "Flying isn't all that matters today. Having you in my life is more than enough, right?" Edo hugs Tenshi and nuzzles her. "No matter what happens to me, as long as I'm with you Tenshi, I'm happy, so please don't cry." Edo smiles brighter than before, then invites Tenshi to go rest with him.

Tenshi looks at him and kisses him. "I'm trying to stop crying but I can't.. I'll always be with you Edo.." She nuzzles him lovingly and wipes her eyes trying to stop the tears.

Edo laughs when Tenshi tells him she can't stop crying. He picks her up in a bridal-like carriage, then heads towards his bedroom. There, he drops Tenshi carefully onto the bed, then lies on the bed beside her. "Just sleep here with me, okay? You look like you need a little rest anyways." Edo runs his hand through Tenshi's hair, then holds onto her hand. He then closes his eyes, but makes it clear that he won't fall asleep.

Tenshi blinks and blushes lightly. She smiles and nuzzles him her tears slowing down. "alright Edo.." She cuddles up close to him and yawns softly. She closes her eyes and wraps an arm around him.

Edo wraps an arm around Tenshi while she rests with him. He gets just as close to her as did with him, and kisses her before holding her hand gently. "I wish we could stay like this forever. You're just too comfy." Edo mentions before he falls asleep. A warm, loving smile stays on his face while he rests.

Tenshi blushes lightly and smiles. She looks at him and kisses him when he falls asleep. "sleep well.." She closes her eyes again and falls asleep as well.

Edo wakes up shortly after he tries to fall asleep. The fact that Tenshi was so saddened with him made it impossible for Edo to rest. Edo stares at Tenshi while she sleeps. "You poor thing..." Edo whispers, depressed while he runs a hand down Tenshi's cheek. The clock was nearing noon, and Edo just wanted to ensure that Tenshi would be happy when she wakes up.

Tenshi cuddles up close to Edo and shivers slightly. She yawns softly and shifts in her sleep slightly. She whispers Edo name as she dreams.

Edo becomes startled when Tenshi shifts, and ends up shifting so strongly and quickly that Tenshi now sleeps on top of him. He blushes when he hears his name in Tenshi's sleep, and whispers her name back in response, jokingly. He sees her shivering, and so Edo pulls an extra, light blanket over the two. "Looks like somebody is having a good dream." Edo laughs

Tenshi sighs in relief when Edo pulls the extra blanket. She smiles happily feeling warmer. She cuddles up to him lovingly and purrs.

Edo looks at Tenshi curiously when she purrs. "You aren't a cat too, are you?" Edo asks jokingly, still in a whispering tone. Another hour had passed now, and Edo reaches over to the bedside table for his cell phone. He looks at the messages, and learns about yet another fact that people do at the two islands. Edo nods at the message, then turns the phone off and puts it back where it came from. "We're gonna have the best time together, Tenshi!" Edo declares softly.

Tenshi opens her eyes and looks at Edo. She yawns softly "I know we will Edo..." She giggles softly and sits up. "did I over sleep?"

"Just a bit. Maybe I should make some lunch." Edo responds, sitting up as well so Tenshi is on his lap. He hugs her from behind and kisses her on the cheek. "So what would you like to eat, honey?" Edo asks curiously

Tenshi blushes lightly and giggles softly. She thinks for a moment and looks at Edo "let's make sandwiches together Edo!" She smiles happily.

"Sure!" Edo replies excitedly. He carefully moves Tenshi next to him so Edo can get up, then Edo proceeds to the kitchen. While Tenshi is still in the bedroom, Edo asks "What kind of sandwiches would you like, sweetie?" Edo looks back, ecstatic to see Tenshi work with him.

Tenshi smiles and follows Edo into the kitchen. She thinks for a moment "hhmm I think I want a ham and tomato sandwich.. What do you want Edo?"

Edo looks away embarrassingly as the words "ham" and "tomato" didn't blend well together in his mind. In fact, it made him feel so strange, that Edo started to feel sick. "Suddenly I don't feel well, honey. I think I'm gonna lay down." Edo remarks. He goes back to the bedroom, and lays down, quickly hiding under the bed sheets, closing his eyes, and falling asleep. He didn't know exactly what was wrong with him, though Edo supposed last night was still bothering him quite a bit. Either that, or he had just never thought of ham and tomato combined before.

Tenshi blinks and looks at him. She follows him to the bedroom worried about him. She sits on the bed and sighs lightly.

Edo gets up when he feels Tenshi sit on the bed next to him. He was infuriated with her, all of a sudden. "You know, had Akito not stopped interfering, we wouldn't be in this mess..." Edo remarks, "That letter I sent days ago was for you, not Akito, as well! As long as he's been included in our lives, nothing has been nearly as good as it could've been, Tenshi!" This was the aftermath of the curse Edo used in battle. Now, Edo's anger was being shown on inappropriate levels. "Why are the fallen angels and devils always after you? Why do you always have to get yourself in so much trouble?" Edo sighs, then looks at Tenshi. "I'm taking a break from you, Tenshi. I just can't handle all this work anymore." With this being said, Edo runs out of the house, and slams the door behind him. Once he leaves, the house magically disappears, leaving Tenshi sitting on a cloud.

Tenshi blinks and looks at Edo shocked. Tears well up in her eyes and she cries when Edo leaves. She flies away from the cloud crying harder.

Edo strolls down the endless pathways of Heaven, having his suitcase vanish too so there is no weight on him. He looks at his cellphone, and cancels the boat ride he and Tenshi once had to the two islands. Soon after, he arrives in the kingdom of Heaven, where he meets up with God, as He also planned in His message. God insisted that Edo submit his powers permanently, and become an ordinary human; one stuck in Heaven. Edo nods miserably, and watches as his powers are taken away. God didn't like how he had hurt yet another angel, though Edo knew he had a purpose. However, one more thing vanished with Edo's powers...

His memory.

Edo was banished back to his house moments later, his house appearing right where it left hours ago. Edo sits upon his bed cluelessly, wondering where he is, and what happened to him.

Tenshi sighs and sits on a cloud. She looks at the ground well cloud. "I didn't mean to make him so upset.."
