Finding Hope in a Hopeless person (anyone)

"It doesn't work like that Rochelle I'm a bad guy..." Akira sighed holding her back.

Rochelle smiles "but the fairies don't care they like you!"

"He will find me here Rochelle. I am suppose to get a fairy now and bring it back to him," he said still holding her.

Rochelle frowns "how will he find you?!"

"Because I am his slave. We have a connection. I told you I am not a free person anymore. I gave my soul to him." Akira sighed.

Rochelle looks at the groundthen I'll take your place.."

"What!" Akira roared grabbing her face so she had to look at him. "That is why alll is happening now! I refuse to let that happen you understand me. I refuse to turn you and I refuse to kill you. So you must play dead for me and never go near another demon understand?"

Rochelle looks at him with wide eyes "but Akira...." Tears fell from her eyes.

"Please Rochelle...just please do as I say..." He said looking at the ground sadly.

Rochelle hugs him tightly.

"Do you promise?" He asked trying not to cry.

Rochelle nods "yeah.."

Akira kisses her and then gets up. "I really don't want to steal a fairy.."

Rochelle looks at the ground "but you have to.." One of the fairies fly up to him and sits on his shoulder.

"I can steal items... but I can't sacrifice a living being...I use to be able to...but I don't know what happened..." He sighed tears sliding down his face.

The fairy hugs his cheek lightly. Rochelle holds him tightly "it's because you nice.."

Akira looked up at the sky. "I am not nice. If I wanted to I could bite down into your neck and turn you into a demon making you miserable for an eternity having to obey not just my orders but also my master's. Or I could take my hand out and rip your heart out. This is something I was ordered to do."

Rochelle blinks and looks at him surprised "but you are nice cuz you didn't do either of those.."

"And it's a matter of time before he figures it out... Rochelle will you do me a favor." Akira asked.

Rochelle looks at him "what is it?"

"My Master can't get any of the fairies if he has no one to control to take something good. He can't control me to hurt you if he wanted. That is he can't if I am dead...so please...Rochelle..." he handed her the knife that was in his jacket. "Kill me then hide in the tree for a few years till it all blows over."

Rochelle looks at him "no No!" She cries "I can't do it!"

"Please, Rochelle." He begs.

Rochelle looks at him "I can't hurt you! I can't kill you! Stay with me please Sern will protect us!"

"But I can't go in the tree Rochelle..." Akira whispered.
