Vain's heart stopped when she kissed him. It was as if he knew those soft lips before. Vain shook his head. And just followed her.

Vain froze. His heart felt like it was going to jump right out of his chest and he felt a searing pain and felt like falling to his knees and crying. But he kept his emotions hidden. "What?"

Vain didn't realize he had put his arms around her waist and kissed her back. He put his forehead to hers. "The emotions are there but not the memories...what happened to me."
