Finding Hope in a Hopeless person (anyone)

"Oh really like who in this hellish place? Just an elf named Sern?" He snarled.

Rochelle looks at the ground with tears forming in her eyes "at least he's never made me cry!" She stands up and runs out the door.

Akira rushes and grabs her arm before she can fully get past the door and pulls her back in and slams the door shut again.
"Look Rochelle, I didn't mean to be an ass about it. It's just... there is not one person out there or two but billions. And not every single one of them is going to want to kill you. Some may want to be your friends some may grow to love you and you love them." Akira sighed realizing he hadn't got heart to heart like this in a long time and he noticed his voice was softer more calming like. Like when he was human.
"Living out here in a shit hole is meaningless one day you are going to snap from loneliness and go insane and that is just pathetic to be out here just to "hide". If that's all one spends life doing, then there is no point of living. You have to conquer fears."

Rochelle looks at him and blinks "am sorry I got upset am just really scared about going out in the real world.." She looks at the ground and hugs him tightly.

Akira sighed. "Well it all takes time I didn't say rush out into it. If one day if I ever go free which I doubt I will help you. But if not... I can find a trustworthy person out there to help you get back up on your feet."

Rochelle looks at him and nods "ok.." She opens the door "am going for a walk ok.."

Akira raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure you want to be out there alone?"

Rochelle looks at him and smiles "I know the woods am fine.."

"Okay," he mumbled. "I'll just sit here and wait for you to come back." Akira didn't feel right about this. But he had made her upset he needed to give her some space.

Rochelle smiles "you can come if you want?"

Akira felt okay again. He didn't want to leave her alone. "Thank you. I...I um...never mind."
He walked past her and then waited. He wanted to say he didn't want to see her hurt. But that would just show that he was getting attached. Something he did not want.

Rochelle blinks and looks at him "you said thank you!" She giggles and follows him.

"wait...whattt. I so did not!" He growled stomping his foot on the ground.

Rochelle giggles and slips ahead "of course you didn't.." She smiles and bumps into someone and lands on the ground. "ouch am sorry se...." She blinks and looks at the person in front of her.
Yuji smirks and looks at her "you need to watch where your going.."he holds out a hand to help her up.

Akira freezes worriedly. "Master...what are you doing here?"

Rochelle blinks and looks at Yuji. She takes his hand and gets up.
Yuji smirks "am taking a look around is that so bad? So who's your friend here?"

"I told you I could get the job done...does it matter who she is?" Akira said annoyed.

Yuji frowns "I just want to know who your friend is.." He walks up next to him and whispers "or do you want me to kill her?" He smirks and looks at him.

Akira literally stopped breathing and his eyes widened. Bastard, Akira thought. He knew he had to obey his Master until he was free too.
He was defeated. "Her name is Rochelle...sorry Master."

Yuji smirks and turns to Rochelle "it's nice to meet you.. Thank you for being a friend to my dear Akira.." He bows and kisses her cheek "bye bye Akira.." He disappears.
Rochelle blinks and blushes lightly "that was your master? He seems nice.."

"Yeah he's a poser," Akira snarled. "Don't...if you ever see him again...I am begging you. Try not to get close run the other way if you must."
Akira was worried. What was his Master up to....

Rochelle blinks and nods "alright I promise.."

Akira sighed in relief. Thank-you.. he almost said.
"So about that walk?"

Rochelle smiles and nods "yeah!" She giggles and starts to skip down a path "hurry!"
